Kris

I arrived in Korea early on this fine Monday morning. As soon as I got off the plane, reporters swoon all around me shooting me all sorts of questions from all different types of angle.

“Tell us Mr. Wu, are you planning to hold your wedding in Korea or China?”

“Is it true that Wang Fei Fei is your mystery girl?”

“How long has it been between you and Wang Fei Fei?”

I groaned in frustration and raised my chin high passing through the large crowd searching my chauffer who was waiting in front of the airport’s entrance. I got in the black car as soon as possible.

“Young master, here’s your mobile phone,” He passed me the gadget from the front sit.

Thump. I felt a pang of guilt rise in me as soon as the phone was on. 200 missed calls, 56 voicemail and 89 messages of notifications greeted me. I was more than annoyed at this nonsense. I just want to explain everything to Heyley first. I’m such a worthless piece of shit for not calling her earlier.

But before I could raise my fingers to punch Heyley’s number, my father called me as he was still in China.

“I expect you to be back in China after you settled everything with the WS Corporation project--- ,” I hung up immediately not wanting to hear another word.

In my entire existence, my parents have never gone against my will and they expect me to follow them this time. I felt as if I’m selling myself to some family I don’t even know with this stupid marriage agreement.

On the other hand, I find it weird for the girl I’m forced to marry, Wong Fei Fei is her name, she is somehow happy about this. It’s true that I’ve met her before during several occasions, but I have never paid much attention to her.

However, my parents once told me that she’s been having this long crush on me ever since we were teenagers. I could practically say that her family is all jumping in joy about it, but sorry honey, I have no interest in you at all. I have somebody else who I extremely love from the bottom of my heart which is none other than Heyley Song Jane.

“To Song Inc.” I told my chauffer and he followed along my orders that instant. I have yet a few things to settle with Mr. Song before I clocked in to WS and it seems to me that this is the best time.

-----------------

I made my way in taking long strides to Mr. Song’s office. I felt another strange feeling as I stepped in the Song Inc. building. The atmosphere was so heavy and is as if I could feel the pressure rising already.

I stopped my track in front of Mr. Song’s office and was about to knock on the door when I heard –

“IT’S BEEN TWO DAYS TWO FREAKING DAYS THAT SHE’S MISSING! WHAT HAVE SEVEN OF YOU USELESS BODYGUARDS HAVE BEEN DOING WHEN SHE WAS OUT AT MR. ZHANG’S PARTY?!!” I heard Mr. Song yelled on top of his lungs. Wait, is he talking about H—Heyley? And why did I heard Lay’s name mentioned?

“We sincerely apologise for our careless for our careless mistake sir, Heyley Agasshi was—“ I HEARD Jay answered and he was cut with Mr. Song saying--

“I DON’T PLAN TO HEAR MORE NONESENSE. INFORM ALL THE SECURITY AGENTS FROM SONG INC. WORLDWIDE BRUNCH AND LOOK FOR MY DAUGHTER. I WANT HER SAVE AND ALIVE OR ELSE I’LL KILL EACH AND EVERY SEVEN OF YOU MYSELF!”

I felt both of my hands tremble in both scared, confuse and worried. PANG. A loud pain of guilt strike me as I stood there frozen with my cold two feet. Heyley, Heyley’s missing. This can’t be! This can’t be! Please tell me that Mr. Song is joking!

I jolted myself out and ran back to my car sending me straight to the WS building. I don’t believe this, please let her be in her office!

I fished out my phone and dial Heyley’s number and it said it was no longer in service. What the hell happened?!

I made my way in the WS building avoiding all the single workers who gave me their usual bows. As soon as the elevator door sled open, I sprinted towards Heyley’s office and found no one there.

This can’t be, this can’t be!

YOU!” I heard a fierce voiced call be from behind.

The next minute I knew, Yixing grabbed me at my collar and I felt a painful punch landed on my cheek, I was then landed on the floor.

“YAH HYUNG! STOP IT! FIGHTING IS NOT GOING TO CURE ANYTHING!” Sehun yelled as he and Kai held both of Yiuxing’s arm behind him.

“STOP IT? YOU TELL ME TO STOP PUNCHING THIS BASTARD? LET GO OF ME!’’ Yixing stuggled through Sehun and Kai’s grip.

“I TRUSTED YOU! I TRUSTED YOU THAT YOU WOULDN’T HURT HER! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY DAYS HAD PASSED THAT SHE LOST HER APPETITE BECAUSE OF YOUR SUDDEN ABSENCE?!? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES SHE CRIED?!? AND NOW SHE’S FREAKING KIDNAPPED AND THE WHOLE KOREA HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT! WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN TO WS WITHOUT HER?!’’ Yixing yelled and I tried my best to stand on my unstable feet as Tao held me.

“Hyung, you need to calm down! This is not the time to argue about this!!” Tao said in worrisome as he held my shoulders tight preventing me from falling.

I was speechless beyond my own words, I don’t know what to say and I can’t find myself to think straight at this moment. It’s all my fault. I should’ve at least called or send her someone on behalf of my greeting.

The atmosphere of the room soon became calmer than before as the rest of the 11 of them came in and explained what happened to Heyley during Yixing’s birthday night and they themselves have their own investigation team to search on Heyley.

“H- H-ow long has it been?” I asked stuttering.

“It happened on Saturday night. It’s been two days to be exact. We checked the CCTV to the hotel and everything, but there’s still no news,” Xiumin said having his arms crossed pacing back and forth.

“Hey Tao, what did your dad said?” Beakhyun shot him.

“He said the same thing, but he guarantee those people who has Heyley are still in Korea,” Tao said checking up on his phone.

Tao’s parents happened to control the largest security system for crime investigation in Asia. And to think that these guys are always here to get my back no matter what, I’m extremely thankful.

“On the other hand, where were you all this time anyway?” Luhan asked.

“Yeah, do you know how shock we were when we heard the news of you engaged to someone else when you’re in a relationship with Heyley?” Kyungsoo whined.

“Force of marriage. I don’t give a damn at it anyway,” I said to them sternly.

“Hey what are you guys waiting for? Now is a good time to find Heyley in brought daylight you know?” Chanyeol said.

“Let’s go!” Suho supported.

We all stood up to take our leave, but before I can take another step my phone vibrated out of the blue.

Buzz. Buzz. A messaged from an unknown number? PANG. I dropped my phone the minute I pressed the open button.

“Yah hyung, why did you—“ Chen said I picked up the gadget.

“Oh my god, guys you have to see this!” Chen yelled to the rest.

“THAT’S HEYLEY! SHE’S TIED BESIDE AN AQUARIUM! DO YOU KNOW WHAT DOES IT MEANS?!? WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING PRONTO!” I yelled in frustration and we all left the room immediately.

Hang in there Heyley, we’re coming to get you. Please, please stay alive, I’m begging you.
