Heyley

"Hello this is Kris Wu speaking, I'm currently busy. Leave a message." Kris voiced filled my ears for the hundredth time I called. I can't even remember how many times I tried to call him. Every single time I missed him, I would always try to call and listened to his voicemail even though I know he's not gonna pick up.

It's been two weeks since I last saw him and there was not even a single sign of him entering the WS building, calls or text or even contacts from the headquarters. I would be lying if I say it's not killing me.

Recently I've been keeping myself busy with paper work over paper work over paper work. I kept pushing my personal feelings aside in order to get my head in focusing on work. But it's not easy as it sounds as Kris took up 75% off my mind  and I'm trying my hardest on completing every single work sheets I'm responsible of. I don't even wanna leave my office if I don't complete that day's work itself.

Every night, I would stare at the photo of us and I would picture ourself going on dates and doing stuff like that. That is how much I miss him. I would even cry myself to sleep every night and it's more like a routine for me. Call me crazy but I can't help myself.

Gathering all my courage, I made my way in the WS building after leaving the parking place. Today was somehow different for me as I was forced to wear extra make up to conceal my pale face. I even got skinner thanks to the depressing topic.

Ding. The elevator door slide open revealing Xiumin and Yixing.

"Good morning Heyley," both of them greeted me with their smiles.

"Good morning to the both of you too. Did you guys heard anything from Kris?" I asked both of them in worrisome.

"Nope, not even from the headquarters," Xiumin said.

"Kris is not the type of person to take usual working lifts if you ask me. I hope his family is okay," Lay said.

"What do you mean?" I asked with curiosity.

"If it's not his family stopping him from coming to work then he would be here though. It's always like that when he doesn't clock in. Are you okay Heyley?" Lay asked out of the blue.

"Of course I'm okay, why wouldn't I be?" I answered forcing a smile.

"But you--

Ding. "That's my floor, I'll see you guys around," I said to them giving a small smile as I took my leave.

I sat on my office arm chair as I eyed the stack of reports that needs to be done as soon as possible. Kris might not be here for work but that doesn't mean the whole company stopped working. The resort project is not even close to a quarter done and if I sat around and keep thinking of my personal feelings, I'll end up not doing anything at all.

Being the typical me avoiding the current emotions I'm having, I began drowning myself with work and take focus both on my laptop and the files in my hands.

Knock. Knock. "Come in," I simply replied as I continue signing the reports I had in my hands.

"Hey, aren't you gonna have your lunch?" Lay came in and eyed my working figure.

"There's still so much work to do and I'm not hungry. Thanks for asking Yixing," I said in an apologetic tone.

"In case you're wondering, drowning yourself with workload and skipping meals would only make you loose energy. From what I see, you really do need to take a break," he said to me.

"THAT WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO?! WHENEVER I TAKE A BREAK, THE ONLY PERSON THAT WILL COME INTO MY MIND IS KRIS. I AM TRYING TO GIVE FULL FOCUS ON WORK AND IF I DON'T DO SO I WILL LOOSE MY MIND ALREADY," I half yelled and I was more than shock myself at my sudden outburst. Before I knew it, tears were trickling down my cheeks.

"Hey-- hey, don't cry," Yixing said while hugging me.

"I don't know. I don't know anymore. I don't know what am I supposed to do," I squinted my eyes as painful tears wouldn't stop flowing.

"What do you say if we go grab a quick bite and after that, I'll help you finish some of your work?" He offered me and I nodded in agreement.

Get yourself together Heyley, you need to regain back your sense.

Yixing

As the clock strike 6pm, I fished out my phone to call Kris for he countless times I've been doing. I'm not the only one who is dying to get his reply though, all 11 of us plus the whole building including the headquarters as well are trying to contact him. And it's strange how his dad doesn't know what's going on too.

"Hello this is Kris Wu speaking, I'm currently busy. Leave a message," the sound of his voicemail greeted me and I couldn't deny the fact that anger began to rise in me.

As a friend who is close to him ever since our high school years, this the first time he ever did such things which is to suddenly break contact like that. And to top it all of with how Heyley is doing, I couldn't deny that fact on how much I wanted to slap him. 11 of us are already hurt with his sudden disappearance and I couldn't imagine how Heyley is going through.

Don't say that I took advantage of her when Kris isn't around. I just think she might need a break from all of this. Because to think not even the closest person to him which is Heyley is going through such a hard time, a simple message wouldn't hurt.

I made my way over to meet the guys at our usual gathering place. I loosened my tie as I took a seat on the couch.

"Hey don't you think Kris hyung is being irresponsible here?" Sehun said with sadness.

"Don't say that Sehun ah, I'm sure he has his own reason. And how is work coming for all of you?" Suho asked eyeing all of us.

"It's getting crazy at my department. I had to drive back and forth to both of the headquarters to get both of the chairman's signature for every single complete task as the CEO is not here to sign it. What about you guys?" Beakhyun fibbed.

"It's the same at my department too," Chen agreed.

"Did you guys tried call him?" I asked and all eyes were on me.

"Been there, done that," Kyungsoo whined.

"And same old voicemail," Xiumin continued taking a sip of his beer.

"Come on guys. Let's just wait and see till he comes back," Luhan said and we all nodded in agreement.

Heyley

Crossing the days on my calendar, and it's already been 3 weeks since I last saw Kris. It's the weekend again.

"Aggashi, here is your favorite Italian dish prepared by our chefs just for you," my maid came in with a tray of food.

"Thank you. Can you on the television for me?" I took the plate of dish I had in my hands and made my way to the couch.

But before I could even take a seat, the roaring sound of morning news filled my ears.

"BREAKING NEWS! It seems to us that former CEO of Wu Inc. which is currently the CEO of their partnership with Song Inc. sub company WS Co. KRIS WU is engaged to the daughter of China's top industrial company Wang corporations's daughter Wang Fei Fei. It has been reported that Kris Wu returned to his China homeland, Guangzhou leaving Korean soil for nearly a month. Recently, Kris Wu has also been interviewed by the popular show 'Saturdate with CEO' earlier last month and he stated that he's 'NOT FREE BUT SINGLE'. Could Wang Fei Fei be Kris Wu's mystery girl?"

PANG. I felt a loud pang of sadness as my heart was shattered bit by bit from the news and showing live as Kris had his hand interlaced with the pretty girl beside him smiling. I was stoned to the floor with my cold two feet as painful tears starts flowing again.

Instantly, I dropped the dish I had in my hands and I was then surrounded by maids. I was in deaf ears from the news until I realize the television suddenly went off. As I turned my head, it was none other than my father who was behind me.

I covered my face with my palms and ran up to my room locking myself in. Every single thought screamed at me for believing and trusting him. I should've known better. I should've known more than this.
