3 • Flashback

SLAP. My cheek was burning red as if the devil inside of me is gonna come out soon when I fuckingly got slapped by this stupid woman in front of me.

'You can't break up with me Kris Wu! You are never gonna leave me like this, after all those things I did for u, is that how u treat me back?!?' the witch shouted at me instantly. I just kept my cool.

'Treat you back?!? Oh look who's talking. Say it to your own god-damn face. You should know better than anyone what you did to me.' I said to her furiously.

Her mouth was shut. She completely had no comment on how to explain the things she've done.

'LEAVE.' I said to her then without hesitation.

'But... Oppa!!', she said back to me.

'Well fine, let's do it the easy way.' I said while giving her my dangerous smirk.

I took out my phone and press the speed dial that links to the whole security system of Wu Inc.

The next thing I knew, 8 securities in black suit who works in my company appear in my office.

'TAKE HER AWAY.' I said to them.

She was then dragged out of my office and straight outside my building. I can see her outside already stomping her heels from my large office window.

What a pleasant surprise to continue my work.

I'm busy, I'm angry, I'm pissed and I'm suffocating. It's as if the next person who shows up in front of me will die in my hands.

What happened in the past? Yes I did had a past with that bitch. Her name is Sa-ran. I used to love her. She was my first love. We were happy for almost 4 months and something really unpleasant happened.

I was an innocent person who knows nothing about love before I met her. She made me happy no matter what situation I'm in.

Until one day, when I was out for dinner with both of my parents after my dad came back from his business trip, I saw her with another guy at the very far corner of the restaurant for only couples. Their hands were interlaced while drinking red whine.

I kept my cool during the entire dinner while watching both of them. And then they kissed. I left the restaurant immediately without looking back even though my parents were chasing me from behind. I was fast. No one would run faster than me with my long legs.

Tears formed in my eyes the whole night. I was watching the sky til dawn beside Han river. This is not what I signed up for when I decided to move from Canada to Korea.

I sat there with my swollen eyes. I didn't move a single inch from my pace. I began to shout my lungs out.

'WHAT DID I DO WRONG TO MAKE HER CHEAT ON ME?!? AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH?!?'

I was worn out and I fainted on the green grass by the river bank.

And when I woke up, I was already on my bed. No, it was NOT a dream.

It seems that my parents had sent their bodyguards to take me home. Both of my parents came in to my room the very next morning and embrace me with a tight hug.

'There there Kris, we still love u alright. There's no need to be sad in this kind of thing. Both of your awesome mum and dad are still here for you right?' They said to me while patting my back.

I felt safe, and more importantly, I'm grateful enough to have both of my parents in my life.

~ End of flashback ~

From that day onwards, I became the coldest person that u could ever imagine I am. I only smile to my parents and ONLY them.

I never let ANY girl simply walk in to my life even though ever since high school, I was always the center of attraction to the girls and now to the press. I asked my parents to send me back to Canada with my grandparents to further my high school life there and to be away from that evil bitch. And I WAS born in Canada too, so why not?

I went college there, and I mastered in business marketing in just 2 years.

My parents came all the way from Korea just for my convocation day and soon when I flew back to Korea, my parents had EVERYTHING set for me and that was being the CEO of the company under my family's name although I didn't think being a CEO can kill someone's mentality instantly.

I clocked out of work and actually had a rest when I got home. A new project is starting soon and tomorrow is the day I'm going for this big meeting escorted by my dad. Luckily my 11 best friends AKA heads of department who work under me was there to help.

The reunion was actually postponed to tomorrow at one of the ballroom in the Hotel my family owned.

Its a business and family kind of thing.

I walk around the house finding my cousins here and there.

'Where could they've went?' I mumbled to myself looking like an idiot around my mansion.

I decided to call them instead. This house is too huge.

'Hello Song Nara? Where are u?!?'

'Im busy outside with auntie and uncle. Oppssss! I mean with my friends. So what's up?' She said at the other line.

'Wait, did you just said that u're with my parents? Outside? What for?'

'Ohhhh nonono! I mean I'm out with my friends. Yah know, catching up?' She denied.

'We just came back from the mall smartass. And u're totally lieing, I know ur voice, Nara. We live together. Either way, u said that you'd tell me why you didn't save me from the stranger just now in Starbucks and you said-- ... *beep beep*

And she hang up on me. What an awesome cousin I have here.

My parents haven't been home lately too. I wonder where they went after their office hours.

What is everyone up to as if their planning something behind of me?
