6 • Hello office!

I. cannot. belive. my. plan. isn't. working. Okay so my cousin disappeared JUST like that yesterday. Our plan was just so far so good until the lights went out. Seriously?

'What the hell just happened?!?' I asked the advisor in charge.

"I'm so sorry Agasshi, it was a mistake due to over excess of electricity, we promise to work on that as soon as possible, in the mean time, everything is almost back to normal," he said with a sorry tone.

I pinch the bridge of my nose it's as if things couldn't get any worst. Hello? This 5 star hotel is under my family's name, and I'm also in charge of every single piece in this. Of all days and places, why does it have to be yesterday when my plan was almost an A okay?

"I expect everything in perfect piece during my next visit and the near future family events we will be having. I'm sure you don't want my uncle to fire you," I crossed my arms answering him blankly while walking towards Heyley's dad.

"Hey Uncle Sam, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I was just--"

"It's okay Nara, I'm surprised on how Heyley couldn't recognize her own childhood friend, they were so close back in the days at Canada," he said to me with a curious voice.

"Well you can't blame Heyley, it's been awhile she have had any friends other than me and the rest of the cousins bunch in our family."

"Yeah, I should've have just settle down ever since her primary school years. So do you think this relationship will eventually work?," asked my uncle.

"Well it's hard to say, but I'm sure this is not gonna be a short one after the few heirs who've gone for her," I smiled while giving full support to my uncle.

"Exactly. I want her to have a happy life. And with Kris especially. I've been observing him since he was a little boy back in Canada. Well she's almost enough age now. I can't just let her stay at home studying business forever," plead Uncle Sam.

"Don't worry uncle, she's gonna start working at your company next week. I'm always on your side uncle, especially when it involves Heyley." I smiled relaxing him a bit.

Heyley and I have been growing up together ever since we were babies. Our dads manage the company together. Heyley is a very interesting person, a friend and more than a cousin to me. It's good that her dad is setting her up with a guy she already knows ever since she was a toddler. Whatever plan my uncle is up to, he needs me to help cuz I'm the closest person to Heyley.

And our plan today was so close and yet it turned out far. I just hope Heyley will eventually meet that guy herself instead of any plans. But the good thing is, Heyley is finally going to have a post in the company. And this will eventually make her get close with Kris in no time due to the partnership signed with his company.

Heyley yah, I'm so sorry for keeping this secret behind you, you have got to thank me one day, hehe.

"Okay so this is your last business studies class before you head to your own office tomorrow morning, young lady," professor Kim said in a supportive tone.

"Thank you professor Kim. I hope I wasn't a lot of trouble after years and years of guiding me in home schooling ever since I was a kid, I hope we'll keep in touch even though I'm not your student anymore." I smiled while answering him.

Professor Kim has taught me every single details about running a bussiness. Not to mention he's also the one who teaches me a b c. He's like my second father. I'm sure gonna miss him when I finally start my career in my dad's company.

"You grew up so fast, don't forget me when you have tones of children. And don't worry, I'd be honored to guide the next generation heirs,"

"Oh god, who said anything about getting married, professor Kim. Having loads of kids I can't promise, but having you around, the door is always open. Do come by often Professor Kim," I said to him giving him a hug. I wish time wouldn't pass by so fast.

So I put on the blazer and pencil skirt I bought a few days ago the same day as the Starbucks incident occur. Oh god why do I remind myself about that event. I just hope that I won't be seeing that man again.

'So I'm not a little girl anymore, no worries Heyley, your dad has got everything set for you. All u need to do is go with the flow.' I hummed to myself. Although I've been to my dad's company like a million times already, everyone seems friendly, hopefully they will welcome me working as the Head of Marketing. While Nara will just be next door to my office as the director, I can't wait. This is going to be fun.

"Heyley, you know, if things don't turn out right, daddy is always here okay? I hope you'll like the office I've set up for you," my father hummed.

"I know I know, it's just my first day. What could possibly go wrong rite? And plus, I can just take the elevator up to your office and that's it. I'll have lunch with you later, just you and me, father daughter bonding time hehe," I smiled while answering him.

The car stopped at the main entrance of the building. As I got off, my father lead the way while I follow him behind. Every single worker greeted us when we stepped in that second. Everyone seems to freeze whatever their doing to line up and bow to us. Oh god, there's no need to do that, seriously. I felt nervous suddenly. If I messed up on my first day, everyone as in every single worker here will have to go through a hard time to fix any circumstances. I have to do a good job.

"Any last words before I head to my office daddy?"

"Just, enjoy your first day of work, hang in there, the beginning is always the hardest, oh and Nara will guide you later. Give her a call," he waved before his secretary cut him off into signing documents.

I brought up my phone and pressed the speed dial button.

"Annyeong Nara, where are you?" I said to the other line.

" Hello? Oh Heyley! I totally forgot about today's appointment with you. I'll be right up at your office in a minute."

So let's get to work.
