Heyley
One way or another, I wanted to leave this room as soon as possible. However that choice will be the end of me let alone my working career.
"Y-yes sir, di- did you call me?" I was stuttering to the max and standing there with my cold two feet.
"Sit." He said while flipping through the pages of the files without turning my way.
I took the seat across him and adjust myself on the office chair. Please make this quick.
"As you know very well, you're the head of department of this company," Kris said still flipping through the files.
"Yes sir, is there any changes?" I asked feeling like a victim.
"Not quite. You will be my assistant in meetings and choosing land sites for upcoming projects and discussing new changes around the company before passing the massage here to the headquarters. Is that clear?" He sneered crossing his arms in front of me with his signature death glare.
Gulp. "Y-yes sir, i-is there anything else?" I asked swallowing my own pride.
I'm already a scaredy cat for his cold shoulder and now I was assigned to assists him in new projects too? Omg, how am I suppose to keep up with this?
"Yes, you and I will start surveying new locations for the upcoming project throughout the whole next two weeks. Not to mention you still owe me lunch," he said still emotionless.
Damn! I thought he was joking about that punishment! This is so not what I was looking for!
I took my leave as soon as I was given the kew. Thump. I rested my palms against my chest and it was seriously beating faster and faster.
I ran back to my office and started creating reports of the upcoming project immediately. There's no time to joke around or play to even start. And talk about who's the one behind all those work once I complete a task is seriously not helping.

Friday came by faster than I could imagine. It's only the first week of WS from the outside ; but inside, it's like a freaking busy company where everyone runs here and there carrying piles and piles of files and endless task all over the place.
Kris does have really high expectations for his workers, no wonder Wu Inc is always on top of the industry list followed by Song Inc. It was really obvious on how great he chooses his workers and kept the new ones in training such as the ones chosen from my company.
It simply means I've been working under the same roof with Kris as my boss too. There were a few times when I went up to his office for him to check out the reports on the files I've done, but other times he looks frustrated and is as though he has something or holding a grudge against me.
Because every time I appear in front of him, his expression completely changes from normal once again straight. I tried to keep this up but it's making me feel I'm a burden.
Ring ring. I looked at my phone but it wasn't a phone call. Instead, it was none other than my lunch break alarm to keep me from engrossing myself with work.
I grabbed my purse and double checked my watch making sure it was lunch time and made my way to Kris's office.
Knock knock. "Sir, may I come in?" I asked feeling scared all over again.
He was multitasking with a stack of paper work and typing away on his laptop. He seems busy as always and that made me mentally cursed myself for interrupting his work.
