So my parents decided to invite me to have breakfast in the morning with them. It's been awhile I left the place. Perks of being the CEO already and I actually wanted to be independent living by myself.

Well, it's not a problem for me as I'm such a quiet person and I barely have any time to stay at home during the weekdays. The only place which I only spend my time is actually my office. What can I do?

I sat on the dinning table while eating every single left of food on my plate. It was quiet for awhile.

"Tell me what is this Kris?! CEO of Wu Inc in a scandal?! Did I expect too much from my own son when I appoint him as the CEO?!" my dad yelled while he threw the newspaper directly in front of me.

My eyes widen in surprise. I knew he would found out sooner or later. Seems like everyday is hell for me.

"Calm down Charles! Let him explain first and Kris, would u kindly explain to mama what happened?" my mum asked with a slight of confusion.

I remained quiet for a second continuing eating my food. My face remained at a cold glare. This is not how I always acted in front of my parents. Wait, it's almost a never.

"Kris, please don't show us your office image and please do explain to us so we can help you. And would u mind telling us why is Saran there? I thought you've cut all the ties u had with her before u flew to Canada again." my dad murmured. But this time, his voice was way softer.

"I did! I did okay. I don't have any connections with her anymore! And I don't even know why she's there. It's not what it seems like. I was just outside meeting with a gir--.. no I mean a client and she just appeared out of nowhere." I half yelled while pinching the bridge of my nose. I'm so mad right now and it's not going to help me cool down any longer.

"Okay son, just be more careful next time. You know we're always here right?" my mum advice while patting my back.

"Yeah your mother is right. And by the way, I want u to completely not have any ties with Saran anymore. Her dad's company is going down and he's begging on his feet asking help from Wu Inc after what he did was trying to take away our stocks. Serve him right." my dad told me.

Yes, what her dad did was truly unpredictable. I didn't know these things will occur when I was back in Canada. Like father like daughter. She doesn't know her own mistake. Geez.

"Kris, you've been really uptight lately. Is something bothering you?" my mum is worried about me again.

"Yeah, this new Wu & Song Inc project kept leaving my work hanging here and there. But no worries, I've set my strategies in every positive way I could." I gave a slight nod and the dish on my plate was long gone.

"Now that u mention it, how did your meeting with Chairman Song went? I'm sorry I couldn't be there, I was having another meeting in the states." My dad asked and stated his reasons for not attending the meeting.

My dad is absolutely a busy man. If I do became the chairman and take his place one day, I don't even know how I'm going to survive when I'm already on the edge of a cliff right now with office works.

"Well everything went well I suppose. There's still a few report that needs to be done. And by next month, we'll be having another meeting with Song Inc new appointed head of department. Oh and Mr. Song sent his regards to you. He said it's been a long time he hasn't catch up with you, dad." I answered him with a slight of tenderness. I still have so many work that needs to be done.
