Kris
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME, KRIS WU YI FAN?!? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!?" My dad shot me with his deadly angry mood.
I slammed both of my palms on the glass table and eyed his stare towards me.
"YES. I'M OUT OF MY MIND. I'M BECOMING MORE INSANE BECAUSE I WAS FORCED TO MARRY THE WOMAN I DON'T LOVE AND LOOSING THE ONE I LOVE AS WELL AS HAVING THE BIG PROJECT ON MY SHOULDERS CURRENTLY! WHY CAN'T YOU GIVE ME A BREAK?! I'M A HUMAN TOO!" I sat back on the couch as I pinched the bridge of my nose. I can't hold it in much longer.
"Calm down, Yi Fan. Wang Fei Fei is not a bad part--
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR HER NAME. JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" I cut my mum's sentence and closed my eyes for a moment as I heard both of my parents' pace out of the room.
I wish things wouldn't be so complicated.
Ring. Ring. Ugh. Who would be calling at this moment? I fished out my phone as I eyed the caller ID.
"Yes Tao, it's me. What's up?" I greeted him dryly.
"Your press conference is starting in an hour, Lay, Luhan and I will escort you there," he answered.
"Very well, inform my chauffeur to get my car ready," I replied blatantly as I stood up from my seat hanging up the phone.
This is going to be so unpredictable.
_______
Walking in the press conference hall with my shades along with three of the guys and a few bodyguards behind me, I was more than annoyed to hear flashing and striking of pictures taking here and there from all sorts of different angles.
I took the middle seat on the table up on stage as I eyed the sea of reporters.
"Please raised up your hand if you plan to ask a question, we won't tolerate any shouting from any of you here," Luhan said in frustration.
"Mr. Wu will answer the question one by one. And misleading questions will be ignored immediately," Lay continued.
The questions and answers session began smoothly although some was a bit off topic.
"Mr. Wu, what connections do you have with Ms. Wang Fei Fei?" A reporter asked as he stood up.
"She's the girl that I was suppose to go on an arranged marriage with," I said shortly.
"Next question," Tao beamed.
"Why did both of your parents side agreed to an arranged marriage all of a sudden?" A different reporter asked.
"Personal matters and there will be no further explanation," I snapped as I tried to calm myself.
"A few months ago, you've been interviewed by the all time famous Helen Hwang at her all time famous show 'Saturdate With CEO' and you stated that you're 'Free but not single'. Can you tell us weather does this have to do with Ms. Wang Fei Fei?"
"No, it has nothing to do with her," I said to the reporter.
"Then who is this girl that the whole Korea is curious about?" Another reporter beamed in curiosity.
"No, I'm afraid I won't be able to say it out," I said to him.
"Recently we heard the news of Ms. Heyley Song Jane missing, did this situation affect your project as well as your marriage?" Thump. My eyes widened as I heard her name.
"I'm sorry but Mr. Wu can't unswear that at the moment, the press conference is over!" Tao stood up from his chair and we walked down the stage with hundreds of reporters surrounding us.
"Last question, Mr. Wu, who is heiress Ms. Heyley Song Jane to you?" I stopped my pace as I the whole crowd went silent and waited for my answer.
"Heyley Song Jane is the woman I love," the whole hall went wilder than before shooting me with more questions.
I went out from the back door of the hall followed by the guys and my bodyguards. I got in to the car and mentally cursed myself, I am soooooo dead tomorrow when the news is up.
"Wow Hyung, you did a great job," Lay patted my back.
"Yeah tell me about it, let me repeat what you said. 'Heyley Song Jane is the woman I love'" Luhan teased as he said the line dramatically.
"Talk about unexpected," Tao followed along.
"Aish, you rascals!" I laughed as I eyed the three of them. What would I do without you guys?
Sam Song ( Heyley's father )
"Heyley Song Jane is the woman I love," I eyed the latest news and off the television immediately. I did not expect such things would happen when I already had my thoughts cleared that Kris Wu is a husband-to-be with someone.
"Mr. Song, here's today's paper," one of the maids handed me as I sipped on my tea.
I eyed the front page of the newspaper and it was the same news again. My daughter is everywhere and more importantly, people are starting to question why isn't she able to be with Kris Wu.
I thew the newspaper aside and lay back on my home office leather chair.
I drowned myself with deep thoughts if I ever let Kris Wu to be with my daughter. I did promised him that he will meet Heyley in the future. The reason I'm actually separating Heyley from him is to test them both on how deep are the feelings their having towards each other.
I took the house phone not far from me and dialed a few numbers.
"Good evening to you over there, Nara. How is Heyley doing?" I asked to the other line of the phone.
Nara
"Good evening to you over there, Nara. How is Heyley doing?" I heard Uncle Sam asked from the other line.
Where do I start? She's back to her normal self but she's more emotionless than before. Not even a single thing would make that sincere smile of hers come back. Every single time when someone mentioned something about Korea or the well known WS Corporation CEO Kris Wu back in the office, she would avoid every single question and not to mention the pain I realized in her eyes.
"Hello, Uncle Sam. She's fine. Her paperwork is the same as excellence than before," I answered him as I landed my eyes on Heyley from the balcony who was playing golf down there.
"Is she still giving out silent treatment when 'the' topic came up?" He asked worriedly.
"She's still the same. And she's having a few swings on golf right now. Wait... she's gonna hurt her arm if she keeps doing that," I answered Uncle Sam as I eyed Heyley's figure doing aggressive swings.
Seconds later, it started raining.
"Uncle, I think I might have to call you back," I hand up the phone as I ran downstairs to Heyley.
"Ah- auch," I heard her soft cry as she held her left shoulder.
"Yah, are you crazy?! Why are you suddenly playing hard in the rain like this?!?" I took the golf club away from her as both of our figures are soaking wet.
"Just let me play, Nara. I need to clear my mind," she pushed me aside as she grabbed another golf club.
"LOOK AT YOURSELF! YOU'RE HURTING PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY! I KNOW YOU'RE STILL NOT OVER HIM! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ADMIT THAT?!?" I grabbed her face as I stare at her sobbing and worn out face.
"BECAUSE IF I DO THAT, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. HE DOESN'T LOVE ME ANYMORE," She yelled in frustrating.
"HOW SURE ARE YOU?! DO YOU WANT ME TO CONFIRM THAT YOU'RE WRONG?!?" I shot her back as I hugged her crying self tight.
I dislike seeing you in pain, do you know that?
