"You're gonna have a million wrinkles by 20 if you keep making faces at your phone," Fangs commented to Toni. She had been frowning down at her phone for the past 5 minutes, waiting for texts from Cheryl.
"Fuck off," Toni mumbled. She decided the conversation between her and Cheryl ended and shut her phone off before picking at the strange "food" on her lunch tray.
"Seriously, why're you looking so depressed?" Fangs pressed. Sweet Pea skipped school but if he were to be there he would be making fun of Fangs for caring so much.
"That girl is so broken and I can just tell," Toni sighed.
"Who? Mystery text girl?" the serpent across from her replied. Toni nodded.
"From what she's said the kids at her school sound like total assholes," she continued. Fangs didn't reply, he just looked down at his food. Toni knew what it meant.
"What's your problem?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at him.
"All I'm saying is that you don't know their side of the story. There's a chance that maybe she's the bully in this situation," he sighed. Toni opened her mouth to argue but realized he was right.
"Well I just have a feeling about her. Something tells me that if she is rude, she has a real reason for being rude," she finally answered. The bell rang and they both headed off to class, Cheryl still stuck on Toni's mind.
a/n: this was trash but anyway, it took me all day to work up the courage to snap my crush but i did and i didn't die and we talked for the rest of the night so i'm pretty happy right now
