I hope you all enjoy this one. I had terrible anxiety while writing this so sorry if it feels off. Also I wrote most of this in the way home from my 5SOS concert a few days ago. 😂
And I promise I am getting back to writing ASAP.
Enjoy folks.
Also hella Jachary so sorry not sorry about that. 😂💛

Jack likes to skateboard. Everyone knew that. It was a way to ease his stress not cause more of it. This currently wasn't one of those times.
Zach.
God if he wasn't constantly thinking of that damn boy maybe he could have been able to concentrate on what his feet were doing.
Maybe he would have seen the huge stone in the middle of the street. And maybe, just maybe he wouldn't have fallen.
Jack was currently laying in his bed in agonizing pain. He wasn't going to say anything to anyone though. Every time pain would shoot through his left shoulder he would just remember what happened earlier that afternoon.

Jack couldn't stop thinking of that damn boy. He knew he didn't have a chance but he just couldn't stop thinking about him. The harder he tried to not think of the boy the more he thought about him.
He was currently on the way back home from the skatepark he was just at. It was maybe a 15 minute ride. The street was usually empty with them living in a newly developed neighborhood and all. There weren't very many people who were living in the rest of the houses yet.
Maybe Jack should have been looking at where he was going, but obviously he wasn't thinking about that. When the wheel of his skateboard hit the small rock the boy went flying through the air.
He had tried to put his arms out to catch him but that was only his first mistake. His second was putting only one arm to catch his whole body weight. The third was landing on that same shoulder. Those three mistakes led to hearing a loud pop and crack followed by another loud popping noise.
He laid there on the concrete for a solid five minutes. The pain he felt in his shoulder was awful. He stopped himself from crying and just slowly picked himself up off the ground. He grabbed his skateboard that had slid a bit down the road from him and started the long walk home.

When Jack had gotten home late that afternoon the guys were a bit worried about him because he said he would be home around three in the afternoon but he had gotten home around four thirty.
"What the hell took you so long?" Jack didn't even have time to set his keys and skateboard down before Zach was at the door with an angry look on his face.
"I'm sorry. I decided to walk the rest of the way home." Jack had brought his right hand up to rub his upper left arm. He looked down and sucked in a quick breath. He really hoped that Zach didn't hear it.
"What was that? Are you okay?" Zach's angry look was instantly replaced with one of concern and worry. Zach had gently grabbed Jack's chin in his hand. He made the slightly shorter boy look up at him.
Jack blushed and pushed Zach away from him gently. The boy mumbled a 'leave me alone' and ran up the stairs to his room.
Jack slammed the door and leaned against it. He went to his desk drawer and grabbed a bottle of ibuprofen. He took three of the small pills with his bottle of water from last night. His arm hurt so bad.
