Jack was never one to take big risks. Everyone knew that. He just didn't want to fuck up his life. He thought he was being reasonable.

He just wanted to keep himself and the others around him safe. He hated losing people.

Jack was sharing a hotel room with Zach. That made him nervous. Every time he was around the younger boy his heart started racing. He didn't know why and he sure as heck didn't want to find out.

"Jack are you okay?"

Jack's eyes snapped over to where Zach had just come out of the bathroom. The boy had a towel wrapped around his waist as he had just gotten out of the shower. Jack forced himself to look away from the boy's torso. He cleared his throat and looked at his lap. "Yeah I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You know you can always talk to me. I care about you." Zach crouched down to get some clothes. Jack's eyes widened when Zach dropped the towel and pulled a pair of Calvin Klein's on. He felt his cheeks heat up and he looked the other way.

"Yeah I know." Jack stood up and grabbed his phone. "We have to leave soon. We're going to lunch before the interview."

"Okay give me a second." Zach sat down on the bed and put his shoes on. He grabbed his wallet and phone. "Okay lets go."

Jack grabbed his wallet and pulled a jacket on since it was a little chilly outside.

Zach looked at the boy and hesitated before muttering, "Wait."

Jack turned around and looked at Zach with a confused look. "What? Is something wrong?"

Zach just walked over to Jack. He stopped when they were a few inches apart. Jack was internally freaking out. Zach reached up and cupped Jack's face. Jack's breath hitched and he locked eyes with Zach. He liked this.

"Can I kiss you? I really wanna kiss you." Zach whispered and leaned down a bit.

"Yes."

Zach leaned down fully and connected his lips with Jack's. Their eyes fluttered shut and Jack set his hands on Zach's chest. The kiss was slow and soft. They were both being very cautious of the situation. Zach pulled away and looked into Jack's eyes.

Jack was the one to connect their lips again. Zach kissed back and wrapped his arms around Jack's waist. Jack's hands cupped Zach's face. Zach pulled Zach close so their bodies were flush against one another's. They pulled apart so that their lips were still touching. Jack kept his eyes closed as Zach attached their lips together again. Jack's hands moved to Zach's hair and laced his fingers through the soft brown locks.
