Jonah absolutely hated being the center of attention which is kind of ironic if you think of it.

One time he fell off his bike in the third grade and broke his arm, but he still didn't tell anyone. His mom later found out when he couldn't hide it any longer.

So when Jonah recently started to feel pain in his hips he didn't utter a word about it. It wasn't a big deal, right? It couldn't be.

So he tried his best not to show off the limp he was sporting. He didn't want any of the boys to find out.

It's a good thing they weren't as oblivious as Jonah was hoping for.

"Hey Jonah we're going to dinner you want to come with?" Jack opened Jonah's bedroom door even wider and stuck his head in. Jonah sat up so he could see Jack. He felt a dull pain in his hips but tried to ignore it.

"Um yeah let me just get dressed really quick. I'll be down in like five minutes." Jonah waited for the boy to close the door before he flopped back down. He groaned and rubbed his hips. He slowly got out of bed and went to his closet. He grabbed a red hoodie sweatshirt, black ripped skinny jeans, a light wash jean jacket, and his white Vans. He put it all on before grabbing his phone and wallet. He grabbed his keys as well before walking down the steps.

All the other boys were sitting in the living room on their phones. Jonah jangled his keys which got all of their attention. They all looked at him before standing up.

Daniel's mouth was agape. He shook the thoughts from his head as he stood up and ran out the door and to Jonah's car. "Shotgun!"

The other three groaned but got into the backseat of Jonah's car once he unlocked it. Jonah chuckled and climbed into the drivers seat. His face scrunched up at the uncomfortable pain in his hips. Daniel sent him a glance but Jonah just shook his head. Daniel put the local restaurant into the gps as Jonah started the car.

Daniel hooked his phone up to the aux cord and they all jammed out until they pulled up to the restaurant. They all got out and Jonah locked his car. They went in and quickly got seated. Daniel went to sit across from Jonah next to Jack but Zach quickly sat there and sent Daniel a smirk. Jonah looked at Daniel who avoided his glance. Daniel looked around to see that the only seat left was next to Jonah. He smacked the back of Zach's head and sat next to Jonah. Jonah just looked down at his lap and frowned.

Why was Daniel acting like that?

They all looked at their menus for a bit before the waiter came over and took their orders. Jonah looked over at Daniel was talking to Corbyn who was sat to the left of Daniel at the head of the table. Jonah couldn't help but admire the boy.

Jonah knew he had been caught when Corbyn smirked, nudged Daniel, and nodded at Jonah. Jonah quickly looked away as Daniel looked at him. Daniel smiled at him and looked back to Corbyn. Jonah just sighed. He looked up to Zach who was looking at him with an expecting look. Jonah just rolled his eyes and checked his phone when it buzzed. It was a text from Zach that said 'make a move you dumbass'.
