Lily's PoV
I was greeted by my caring parents and horrid sister after I got of the scarlet train, it held a special place in my heart. It took me to Hogwarts, it took me to where I fit in.
The summer had been boring so far. My sister called me a freak, my parents questioned me about every little thing, you know the usual.
I was really missing Marlene and Alice. I was most certainly not missing James potter, the bullying toe-rag. However, he seemed to think that I needed to know what was going on with his life every waking moment.
He sent me letters every other day!! UGH!
I ignored most of the letters, they just said 'Evans, I miss you, go out with me?' or 'Sirius said hi!' They were really aggravating me.
If I replied it was to tell him to leave me alone or how much I hated him. I was suprised he couldn't get the message. He was a fairly smart lad,he got 7 O.W.Ls!
And he didn't even study. Mabye Remus had convinced them to do some revision?
But anyway, my Hogwarts letter had come! AND GUESS WHO WAS MADE A PREFECT AGAIN??? I was so excited!
Since Remus and I were actually friends we had kept in touch, I wouldn't think of him as anything else but we talked a lot. When he informed me that he was also made made a prefect again I felt fit to burst!
I bet James was Jealous!!
James' PoV
Padfoot and I had got of the train together. He was staying with me, my family had kind of adopted him. Moony and Wormtail had come two weeks before we were going back to Hoggy, Hoggy Hogwarts!!
My house was always the place to be.
Siriusly, Euphemia and Fleamont Potter were the best parents!!
Padfoot called them Mum and Dad, we had taken him in Fourth year.
BUT I WAS MISSING MY LILY FLOWER SO MUCH!!! I'M HAVING WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS!!!
So of course I was owling her every other day, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday were Owing days. I know Monday was right after Sunday.
BUT IT'S THE START OF A NEW WEEK SO IT DOESN'T COUNT!
I bet she loved my letters, and I know she misses me so I don't know why she keeps on denying it.
She also says she hates me.
I know that part is probably true, that's the thing I'm sure of. She hates me. And I love her. But she doesn't care about me. Not one bit. I don't think she realises how much she means to me. But I don't mean anything to her and I never will mean anything to her.
I got told by Moony that she was renewed a prefect and then he told me that he was too.
I asked him how he know and they said the owled each other.
I'M JEALOUS. SO JEALOUS
