James' PoV
I was still going out with Zoe, Lily was still with Ben. Zoe was really pretty but I was only going out with her to make Lily jealous.
It wasn't working, she talked to me even less know.
I was in a bad mood, at breakfast I spilled orange juice down my front, I used a cleaning spell and you couldn't tell. But it still pissed me off.
My lessons were bad as well:
First: Potions
Second: Arithmacy
Third: Herbology
Fourth: Free Period
Fifth: History of Magic
Fair to say it was a horrible day...
Sirius suggested we went for a walk, to get our minds off of things
We walked down not under the invisibiity cloak because it was only 7 and curfew wasn't until ten. WE were walking and saying rude things about our teachers when we say two people.
One with beautiful red hair and astonishing looks, lily and then Ben.
My heart shattered, Lily was telling Ben how much she loved him and then they kissed, I felt my face drop.
I turned on my heel and sprinted away, Lily and her precious boyfriend probably saw me and to be honest I couldn't care anymore. Padfoot followed me and caught up to me pretty soon. We ran to the 7th floor corridor and went into the Room of Requirement.
It was the same as normal just a bit smaller. Once we got in here I broke down and sobbed leaning on Padfoot.
"Pads... I can't" My voice cracked and I just hid my face
"You can't what James?"
"Be around Lily when she's with Ben, I want that to be me" I sobbed harder.
"But I'll never have her Sirius..." I stopped crying and straightened up and wiped my eyes.
"James, leave her alone for a bit and focus on you and Zoe" He soothed gently
"Ok, lets go" I wiped my eyes one last time and headed out.
We strolled into the common room. The common room was empty except for one.
There was Lily sat on the couch, looking right at us, furious.....
