Lily's PoV
I tossed and turned all night, I was head girl! Proffessor dumbledoor was trusting me with such a large responsibility, I ran through all the possible candidates for head boy. Severus from Slytherin which I pray dumbledoor has more sense to award him with such an outstanding position. I always thought he was different, now he's just like them, the death eaters. Severus swore he didn't have any interest in dabbling in the dark arts but when your friends with people like Avery, Dolohov and Nott, you were bound to be involved. He also seemed way too close to that Belatrix black, she proffessed her love for he who must not be named and came from a long line of Dark wizards.
Dumbledoor is a wise man, I'm sure he won't have trusted his with a role contanting so much power given his current state of mind and probably his left fore arm too.
Bane Daleby would be a good candidate for the role, he was from Ravenclaw and a rather smart, kind and caring ravenclaw at that.
Theodore Hopkirk , or Theo for short, would make an excellent choice for head boy, he was a pure blood but didn't act pompus or arrogent like many do. Saying that though James had calmed down a lot, he was never against anyone who wasn't but he grew up with a life of luxury and stuck his nose down at others who weren't. Anyways back to Theo, I think he's been picked.
At the end of the day I would love it to be Remus but it's a highley unlikely event that Dumbledoor will pick 2 gyffindors.
I rolled out of bed and put my slippers on, I padded downstairs and wasn't suprised to see James there speaking to his house elf Dinky. They were both sat there with breakfast in front of them speaking as equals, this was extremely rare to see in the wizarding world.
"Morning, do you want anything to eat" He inquired while shovelling food into his mouth.
"No I'm good but who's head boy?"
"Wouldn't you love to know" He laughed as he left the room ominously.
"Weird" I thought to myself, I shook my head and headed upstairs to get ready for the day ahead. It was going to be a gruelling day of questioning the boys again. Peter wouldn't tell me last night and neither of them even gave me a hint.
However, we had a fun filled day shopping for stationary and school supplies so needless to say I am very excited and overjoyed.
