Lilys Pov
I waltzed into my room and tied my hair up in a bun. Looking in the mirror, I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down.
I marched out of my room and knocked on remus' door gently while saying his name. I heard him yell come in and opened the door. James, Sirius, Peter and remus were all there.
"Remus, can I talk to you? Oh and Sirius Marlene needs to talk to you" I say while avoiding looking at James
"Shit." Sirius whispers under his breath but still gets up and makes his way to the door, and remus followed him.
We walked downstairs to the lounge. We both sat down and looked at each other, we had little private conversations a lot because we thought similarly so we could talk about homework or anything for hours at a time.
"So, I really like James but hes mad at me and he understands the stress I'm going through bit is only adding more stress to my life! And obviously we are getting our Hogwarts letters today so that's even more stressful! What do I do? I asked you because I knew you would know how James thinks and how to handle this situation." I finish my sentance and look at him.
He doesn't quite meet my eyes but looks deep in thought.
" I think, that you should start acting nicer to him, he's only human Lily. To be fair, you've not exactly been very nice to him. Everybody's stressed, you just need to calm down and figure this out by yourself." He says with a sigh. He gets up and walks upstairs.
MEANWHILE
Sirius trapsed into Marlenes room, wondering what he had done. He wracked his brains yet he had no clue. When he opened the door she was smiling at him and only wearing a cute hoodie. Okay so she's not mad.
He greeted her with a kiss and smiled as she pulled him to sit on the bed with her.
"Okay, so is James mad at lily? She thinks he is when really he's only doing to her what she's doing to him." Marlene says rather bluntly.
"No, he's just confused because she's started acting so nice to him and obviously they kissed but now she's being rude and he's giving up on her because he's getting tired of putting work on and getting absolutely no where with it." Sirius concludes
