17. Later

Lily's PoV

To be honest, I was so happy I had broke up with Ben. It helped me realise why something felt off in our relationship, I liked Potter. Maybe I should start calling him James? I went down to breakfast and sat opposite to Remus and next to James.

"Morning" I chirp as I sit down.

"Morning Lils" Remus says in a tired tone. I glance at him and see he is really pale. I had known about his secret since 5th year. I was so surprised. Sev- Snape had hinted at it a few times but I had brushed it off as Snape didn't like the mauraders. I shoot him an understand look and turn to James.

"Hiya James" 

"James?" He replies while turning to look at me. A mixture of emotions are displayed on his face: Shock, bewilderment and glee. I wondered if this was a bad thing? But he looked so adorable!

"You never call me James! I like it, Lily" He smirked and put an extra emphasis on my name. I flashed him a bashful smile and began buttering my toast.

"It's fine" I giggle, ugh since when do I giggle. "Do you want to meet in the library later? I could help you with your Astronamy essay."

"Sure. I'll meet you in the common room at 7?" He replies

"Okay. Seven's a good time"

"I hate having to leave you but ya know, gotta go wake Sirius up in time for our favorite lesson... Drumroll please" He pauses for dramatic effect while i bang my hands on the table lightly. "POTIONS!"

I laugh and wave goodbye while James and Remus walk back in the direction they came from. I feel lots of eyes on me and see The JPFC. For anyone who isn't familiar with this particular, erm organisation, it is the one and only James Potter Fan Club. There is also a SBFC, The Sirius Black Fan Club. The clubs often debate who is better looking or who's better at this or that. Bit pathetic really

I finish off my toast and walk back to my dormitary, so I could organise my bag and make sure that my bag contained all the homework that was due in today. First I had potions, then arithmacy, herbology and lastly transfiguration. It was a decent day. James was in my first and last lesson.

Before I had realised it, I was at the fat lady's portrait.

"fortitudinem leonis" I say, the fat lady swung open. 

I dashed u the stairs to my shared room. Marlene and Alice were getting ready, I fixed my hair, put some deoderant on, added a swipe of mascara and applied a bit on lip balm.

I organised my bag and turned to face the girls who were now finished getting ready.

"I have something to tell you" I say, my emerald eyes glinting with mischevousness, that would the mauraders to shame.

"Ooooooo" Marlene squeals and both girls turn to face me. I tell them all about my morning with my new found crush. By the end of me reacounting my story, we needed to go to potions. We were in an empty corridor and I remembered a big deatil.

"OOOOHHH" I shriek "OMG! I FORGOT!"

"What?! Lily whats wrong?" Alice asks, a hint of urgancy in her voice. I informed them of my 'date' with James. Wait was this a date? What was it?

We arrived for potions and took our place in our unassigned assigned seat. We sat right at the front to the right on the Gryffindor side. James and his gang strolled in, James looked around the room and his gaze landed on me. He sent my a lazy grin, it was lopsided but so perfect. It took my breath away. 

Cliche I know.

I ended up working with Emma Toadstools from slytherin. WE made our potion perfectly. All of my lessons zoomed by. 

I was sat in the great hall with Alice, eating our dinner. I finished my food and headed up to the gryffindor tower and had a shower. I got changed into my regular clothing. Plain black jeans and a levi's top tucked in with my vans. I casted a quick tempus. It was 7:02 so I walked down the stairs. I scanned the room and saw James. He was wearing his muggle clothes so at least I wasn't the only one. He walked over to me and held open the door

AAAAHHHHH!! YOU THOUGHT!
