James's PoV
After we had all crashed into my room, I sat in my chair and turned to the boys. They were all eagarly waiting, it was an unspoken rule, mauraders meetings were the meetings that we held to the highest regard of secrecy and detail.
I cleared my throat and then smirked mischeviously.
"As you may know, Remus didn't recieve the head boy position" I left a pause for dramatic effect, "but I did"
Sirius snorted
Upon hearing this they burst out laughing, James potter? The biggest prankster in the school? Never does his homework? Flirts his way out of things? Head boy?
"Okay, whats actually the issue" Remus asked
I produced the head boy badge from the pocket of my quidditch bottoms and they gasped. Padfoot sat a bit straighter, moony looked proud and wormy shifted unconfortably.
I read them the letter that was adressed to me by dumbledoor to the boys and we sat in silence for a minute.
"We're not gunna tell Lily" I announced and they nodded, they were all proper good at keeping secrets so I trusted them
We ran over the plan of what we would do if she asked which was a very likely event.
