15. Gotcha!

Lily's PoV

I knew what James was trying to do, make me jealous. 

HA!

Good luck with that one, hun

Well, I did feel kind of jealous, no..

Awkward, like I don't want to see him snog someone else.

My school day was quite good, Wednesday's were always good, James and his Possy weren't in any of my lessons. Pure bliss.

Well remus was in 2 of my 4 classes, but he was different.

I had my rounds tonight with Remus so that was good, we could have a chance to talk. He ignored me in Arithmacy and Divination, and he didn't speak to me at lunch either

My watch showed me it was five minutes to 8. I headed out from my dormitary and walked into the common room where Rumus was already waiting.

"Hello" He greeted me oddly formal, I wondered what was up

"Are you ok?" I ask him politely

"Yes" He nods curtly, "Shall we go?" He replies

"Urm.. Okay" I respond and start heading towards the door, Remus following me. 

He looked as if his mind was racing a 100 miles an hour so I decided to not press the matter any futher. About an hour into our patrol we only had to send 2 second years back to bed. We climbed the stairs up to the Astronomy Tower.

I was always nervous for this part, and checking broom cupboards. You never knew what you would see, but the Astronomy Tower was usually worse.

MEANWHILE JAMES PoV 

I had kept my word and met Zoe in the astronomy Tower at 9' O Clock. She was wearing very short denim shorts and a black lace bralette. Her hair was down and curly. I had my arms wrapped around her waist and we were talkin. I was sitting down leaning against the wall and Zoe was laying on my chest. 

She looked up at me so I leaned down and kissed her softly, and then deepened the kiss.

At that point Evans and Remus walked in. Monny didn't take to much notice but Evans did.

"OUT!!" She screamed, rage contorting her voice. She took a deep breath

"Zoe and Potter" She said with a sneer, Zoe just tucked into me, we were standing now and I had my arm around her. "Back to your common rooms"

"Okay" We said in unison

The four of us left. Remus opened a broom closet door and out stumbles Ben Smith and Cassandra Toadburn. They were both flushed and looked emarressed

"LILY!!" Ben yelled, " I- erm - I - well - It's not what it looks like" He stuttered. Cassandra just had a smug look on her ugly face.

I removed my arm from around Zoe and put my hand to rest on Lily's shoulder who was silently crying while Mooney yelled at Smith and Toadburn.

She leant into me and then tears raked through out her full body

She turned around and faced Smith, "we're done!" She growled, he looked at her bewildered. 

"Fine, I've still got Cassie!" He retaliated, and linked his hand with Toadburn, they both left for the ravenclaw common room. Remus nodded at me and left swiftly

Lily once again turned into me and sobbed, I patted her back and just smiled down at her head. Lily and I just, fit. LIke more so than Zoe and I. It just felt so right

"AHEM? Remember me? YOUR GIRLFRIEND???" Zoe wailed at the top of her lungs

"ERM? What?" I ask very confused. Lily stepped back out of my embrace  

"You know what? Your not allowed to be friends with her!" Zoe continued, "IT'S ME OR HER!"

"Her" I state bluntly

"What? Your picking her? Over me?" She screeched, almost busting my ears

"A good girlfriend wouldn't make me pick. So I pick Lily. Bye" I declare and turn on my heel grabbing Lily's hand and pulling her with me.

"UGHGHGHGHGH!" Zoe howled and stomped back to the Hufflepuff common room.

We were halfway to the Common Room when I realised I was still holding Lily's hand, it just felt so natural. 

"Sorry" I took my hand out of hers

"It's ok, it was nice, but this is better" She replied and wrapped my arm around her shoulders while she put her hand around my torso

"I'm sorry about ben" I say smoothly

"I'm sorry about Zoe" She replies 

We reach the Fat Lady's Portrait and like the gentleman I am I opened it for her. Tee common room was deserted.

"Goodnight Lily" I almost whisper. The name Lily rolls off of my tounge like honey.

"Goodnight James, thank you" Lily leans up and kisses my cheek and then dashes up the stairs

"I stood there dumbstruck, I press my hand to my cheek and smile faintly, before gliding into my dorm and slipping into a peaceful sleep...

AAAHHH!!! JILY FEELS!!!
