Lily's Pov
I threw on some black denim shorts and a white crop top with lace at the end. Marlene ended up putting on blue denim shorts and a blue top. I put a small bit of makeup on and put on my sandals.
I walked into the living room where Marlene and Sirius were sat, she was sat on his knee and they were talking and smiling at each other.
"Marlene, Mrs Potter is in the dining room and wants us to go there so we can apperate" I say
She kisses Sirius goodbye and we walkout of the living room and into the dining room, we linked arms and apperated into a fancy shop
A service woman came up to us and showed us were our dressing rooms were
"I thought if you got your dresses first you could get your nails done to match them" Mrs Potter explains
I go and look at some dresses, I tried on this one two piece that I ended up getting
It was red and that gold glitter at the top of the halter neckline. The skirt part was gold at the top as well and blended into red. It was mid - thigh and then i wore chunky red heels with it
Marlene's dress was tight and backless. It had lace at the top and it was rose gold. Sirius was so lucky, her dress was a little bit shorter than mine but looked classy. Her heels were white strappy stiletto's
We, well Mrs Potter paid and then we went to get our nails done. Marlene got white nails with her ring fingers rose gold glitter into matte white in coffin shape. I had the same shape but just gold glittery nails. We went into The Witches Cafe and we got iced tea
"So, Marlene your dating my son?" Mrs Potter asks
"No, I'm not dating James..."
"No, my other son"
"Sirius? Yeah" She smiles fondly and takes a sip of her tea
"That's nice. What about you Lily?"
"Erm, nothing is really going on in my love life" I say awkwardly
"I know my James has always had a soft spot for you, I'm sorry about him constantly asking you out by the way"
I just laugh and finish my tea. We apperate home and start getting ready
