"Oppa!"Hyejin called with tears threatening to escape her eyes.
"Please...don't go!"Hyejin pleaded but her brother turned a blind ear and continued walking towards the boarding gate.She ran towards him with tears pouring down her rosy cheeks,her jet black hair was plastered on her forehead in sweat.
"Please..."Hyejin said softly.
He looked behind and looked at Hyejin with tears welled up in his eyes.Eyes that held sorrow and pity.He didn't want to leave his sister.But,he wanted to pursue his career.His dream.His lips pulled into a small smile,pulling her into a heartfelt hug,his arms wrapped tightly around her.
"I'm sorry,Hyejin."He whispered,cupping her cheeks with his hands,he kissed her forehead.Smiling softly,he pulled his black mask over his face and waved.
"Saranghae oppa!Don't forget about me!"Hyejin yelled.
He halted once more,pausing longer as if contemplating on turning back.Finally,he gave one last look at her.His little sister.The sister he'd do anything for.
"I love you too,Hyejin."He said before turning back towards the plane.
A sturdy arm wrapped around Hyejin's shoulders,patting her back softly.
"He'll be fine,Hyejin."Her father said.
"Your brother will never forget about you okay?I know it's hard seeing him go but he has to pursue his career.Let's just support him with all our hearts.Besides,we could always visit him in Seoul,pursue your career there too."Hyejin's mother assured.Hyejin smiled softly,her eyes softening as she thought of her loving brother.
She was proud of him.She was proud that he'd come such a long way from the wimpy kid he was into a strong willed person he was today.Most importantly,he was proud to call him her brother.
"And I'll wait for that time,until then,Stay safe,oppa."
