While Frank and Marie were recapping what they know so far about the case, Bill Farnham burst into the office in a frenzy and claimed that he was the one who murdered Lee Dupree by planting the pins in the voodoo doll. Shocked and surprised by what they heard, Frank asked, "So you're the one who sent that voodoo doll to the station Bill?"

Bill shook his head rapidly and said, "No I didn't! But someone must have stolen it from me and sent it to you! I was so afraid when you came to the shop and showed it to me!"

Marie started to think deeply and thought, this just keeps getting weirder and weirder. She then looked at Frank and said to him, "I think we should discuss this in a more private setting Frank. And while we're doing that, Bill, I'd like you to go and wait for us in the interrogation room."

Bill agreed and headed towards the interrogation room and once he was gone, Marie then suggested that they head back to Bill's shop and make sure the doll isn't Theon,y thing he's hiding and Frank nodded in agreement. Before they could check out the shop, Frank and Marie headed to the interrogation room to talk to Bill. As soon as they were in front of him, Frank looked at him and asked, "So Bill, you made a voodoo effigy of Lee Dupree just because he put a little foot cream in your gumbo?"

Bill exhaled a deep sigh and explained, "Lee tormented me! I had been eating at Chef Dupree's restaurant for years, but now I barely dared to go in! He kept calling me a stupid, witch doctor hick! I just wanted to him what voodoo really can do, but I never thought it would kill him! My magic must be a lot stronger than I thought and maybe, just maybe, I possess the "gift of gifts!"

Bill then started to make a meditating face and he looked at Marie and said to her, "According to the voodoo spirits in my possession, it wasn't a man, but a woman that organized the murder of your parents Marie Holmes!"

Marie was just about to say something, but Frank beat her two it and slammed his hand on the table making both Bill and Marie jumped and Frank exclaimed to Bill angrily, "I think I've had enough of this mumbo jumbo! Bill, apart from making a voodoo pincushion of our victim, did you ever hurt him physically?"

Bill shook his head and said, "I never had the courage for fightin', but I guess now that I never need to fight since I've got super voodoo powers!"

After their awkward talk with Bill, Frank and Marie were heading towards the voodoo shop and Frank said, "That guy is a nut! I hope that if he does have voodoo powers it'll come back to bite him! By the way Marie, I'm curious about something. Is the only reason you're in this job is to find out who killed your parents? Or is it something more?"

Marie let out a sigh and said, "Well Frank, you're mostly right. Yes, I thought if I stay on the job, I might get some hints from some people that might get me clues to why they died. So far, I found out from a ouija board back in Grimsborough that someone with my mother's maiden name organized their murders. And I found out that the mother of Grimsborough's previous mayor was their teacher as well as someone with the last name Tesla."

"Well if the only Tesla it meant is Nikola Tesla, the inventor, then you must travel back to the 19th and 20th century to ask him cause you're way far off darlin'," Frank said.

Marie looked out the window and thought, but I'm sure there's another Tesla. Maybe here in Pacific Bay. Once they arrived at the voodoo shop, Frank and Marie started to look around it for clues when Frank looked at her and said, "Did you have any luck finding anything darlin'? Cause all I can see is only voodoo stuff, I guess that doesn't help much because I don't know what any of it is!"

Just then, Marie found a torn piece of paper on the floor and thought that she should piece it back together. She also found a leather diary that wasn't a part of the shop's wares and when she opened it, most of the writing was faded away. The first thing Marie did was put together the piece of paper she found and as soon as it was back together, she and Frank looked closely at it and saw that there was some sort of voodoo spell written on it and Frank couldn't make neither heads nor tails on it. Marie then noticed that Lee's name was written on it and she thought that since Yann is familiar with the art of voodoo, she suggested they send the sheet of paper over to him hoping that he'll tell them what the writing on it means.
