A few days after Marie solved the murder of Anjulie Cruz, Marie finally got settled into White Peaks. After the case, Amy showed her around her favorite places and Marie was amazed by many of the sights the mountain town has to show. Today, Marie had the day off and since Frank was out on a job, she decided to have girls day with Amy Hannah and Hannah's girlfriend Heather. On the day they were gonna meet up, Marie suggested that they all meet up at the station's office.

As soon as they met up there, Marie was greeted by Hannah who was holding a red rose and stared lovingly at Heather. Hannah then said, "Hey Marie, do you have anything planned for your day off? Heather and I are heading up to Love Village up in the mountains. Heather showed Marie another rose and she said, "Look Marie, Hannah gave me a rose too. She's such a sweetheart! I can't wait to go and hit the Love Village!"

Amy joined them and she said, "Hey, I'm coming too! I'm such a fan of Love Village!"

Marie looked at them curiously and asked, "What's Love Village?"

Hannah slung her arm around Marie and said, "Only the best place for couples to retreat. There are restaurants, shopping boutiques and even an ice rink."

Heather also nudged Amy in the side and said, "A little bird even told me that you used to go up there to smooch with Bobby Prince when you were in high school Amy. I bet you're still smitten with him."

Amy blushed deeply, shook her head rapidly and said, "It's not what you think! I mean, I care about Bobby because he went through so much pain during our last case. He's a very sensitive man you know."

"It sounds like you're in love Amy," Heather said teasingly.

Amy then shouted in denial, "I am not!"

Hannah, Marie and Heather all laughed at that thinking Amy is acting like a teenager again. Hannah regained her breath and then said as she, "Okay, that's enough teasing. We better go girls because Heather and I can't wait for some cheesy romance."

As they were walking out of the station's office, Marie then asked, "Who do you think will pop the question first? Hannah or Heather?"

Amy then asked her, "You've never been to a gay wedding have you?"

Marie shook her head and said, "No, but I had a gay friend in high school and he was the sweetest thing."

At the Love Village, Marie was amazed by all the holiday decor they have set up and she saw all sorts of couples, gay and straight, mingling around the area. Amy smiled brightly at everything and she said happily, "This place hasn't changed a bit! I'm glad they kept it as cute and romantic as it was. Now you can see why they call it the Love Village, Marie!"

Marie nodded and thought, I should bring Frank up here. Of course, he doesn't give a hoot or two about cheesy romance. But I think it'll be good for us. It was then that a man appeared before Marie and Amy and he said, "Welcome Miss Marie Holmes! I welcome you to the Love Village! I am Désiré Bower and I am the mayor of this lovely place!"

Mayor Bower then handed Marie a rose and he told her, "Please accept this rose and may it help you find your sole mate."

Marie accepted it and thanked the man. Mayor Bower saw Amy next to her and he said, "I see you're here with Miss Young too. She's such a good kid. I knew her when she was a teenager and she used to come up here to cuddle with Bobby Prince. Those two were so cute together."

Amy began to blush and she mumbled, "This is getting embarrassing."

Amy then showed Marie around the plaza and she said, "Anyway Marie, this plaza is where lovers come to meet. There are also figure skating shows here once a month and there's no better place in Pacific Bay for a date!"
