While Amy and Marie were reviewing the case, Chief Marquez approached them and told Marie to go to the scuba diving shop straight away cause there were reports of a bomb found within the vicinity and it could detonate any second. After she heard that, Marie looked at Amy with a determined look and said, "Looks like Valerie Green's murder will just have to wait! Come on Amy, let's go to the scuba diving shop!" And the two female officers ran out of the station to get to the bomb.

As soon as they got there, Marie and Amy started to look around frantically for the bomb before it detonates. After looking around, Marie finally found the bomb and Amy warned her to be careful and imagining the carnage it'll spread if it detonates. Marie's eyes went wide when she saw the timer also ticked at zero and she tackled Amy to the ground and shielded her just as the bomb exploded. Amy held her head in her hands and said, "We're dead, right?! Are we dead!"

The two females looked up and saw that the bomb didn't explode, but released some smoke and they both breathed out a sigh of relief. Once they regained their footing, Marie suggested that she should repair the bomb so she can take a closer look at it. Marie also saw a locker with their victim's name inscribed on it and it was then that she knew that it must be where Valerie kept her scuba diving equipment. And knowing that the killer tampered with Valerie's tanks, they must've also had access to her locker.

The first thing Marie did was repair the destroyed bomb until it was whole again. She and Amy then agreed to send it to Hannah and see what she can make out of it since the bomb wasn't designed to heart anyone. Amy then suggested that since Valerie had a locker at the shop, they should talk to the shop's owner Mike Herbert and see if he knows anything about Valerie's murder. Marie smiled and said, "That's a really good idea Amy."

Amy smiled brightly and thought, I'm learning so much by working with her! Before they could talk to the shop owner, Marie looked closer at the victim's locker and took a sample of the liquid on it and then she sent it to Yann to be analyzed. After she sent the sample to Yann, Marie and Amy went to talk to Mike Herbert the shop owner. After Marie told him about the bomb, he exclaimed in shock, "Did I seriously get a bomb in delivery of my hand cream?! What the hell, man?! First Valerie and now this?!"

After she heard the Mike uses hand cream, Amy wrote it down and Marie asked him, "So you knew Valerie Green Mr. Herbert? Cause my friend and I investigating her murder. And we wan5 to know if you knew her well?"

"I don't care what happened to her cause when you turn your back to the ones close to you for strangers, you have to buck up and face the consequences," Mike said with a downtrodden look.

Shocked by what she was hearing, Amy asked, "How can you speak that of that poor woman's death? And what do you mean by turning back on the ones close to her?"

"Because Valerie left me, that's why! We were engaged and I thought she was happy, but she just left me without a second thought! As soon as those guys and their yacht arrived, she left me for that damn Mighty Pete," Mike told them sternly.

The two female officers blushed after hearing that and Amy said, "So Valerie left you for Mighty Pete and in turn, Mighty Pete left her."

Tears started fall out of Mike's eyes and he said, "God, this whole situation is a damn mess! I just need to go scuba diving for a while just to get away from everything."

After they were done talking to Mike, Amy and Marie were heading back yo the station to hear what Hannah got from the makeshift bomb. It was then that Amy looked at Marie while Marie was driving and she said, "Sorry if today's scuba diving adventure got cut so short Marie."

Marie smiled and said, "It's okay Amy. There will be more chances in the future. Besides, there's a lot more for me to see in this town. I'm sure I can find my answers as long as I'm here."
