Jonah and Daniel have been friends since the beginning of the school year. Jonah being the more fit one, playing baseball and a few other sports. The season had begun a few days ago and the first big game was in a few days. Of course he wanted his best friend to be there and support him. Jonah was just too nervous to ask Daniel. The taller of the two thought it'd come off as asking him out on a date, which he didn't mind. The elder has had a crush on Daniel even before they met.

It was now a day before the big game and Jonah had set up a plan to ask Daniel to be there. The bell was about to ring, signifying the end of the school day. Time was moving quickly as Jonah was starting to loose hope on asking his best friend. The bell had rung and everyone was in a rush to go home. Jonah had spotted his brunette friend from across the hall. "DANIEL!" He shouted, grabbing the younger boy's attention

"Oh hey jonah" Daniel said as Jonah arrived in front of him. "Will you come to my game tomorrow?" He asked nervously. "Of course I'll be there. I'll always support you jo" Daniel answered. "Thank you" the older said as he ran into the distance, in order to catch his bus.

Jonah's POV

The game starts in a few minutes and I can't help but be overly nervous. I saw Daniel smiling in the bleachers, immediately standing out from everyone else. "YOU'LL DO GREAT!" He shouted, giving me a sympathetic thumbs up. I nodded and smiled while going back to stretching.

Daniel's POV

"Are you kidding me?!" He yelled in frustration. "Jonah it's ok, it's just one game" I said, patting his shoulder. "Just one game?! Dani we lost, by a whole hell of a lot!" He said, raising his voice even higher then it was before. "Just calm down, let's go home"

We arrived at my house a few minutes later. My mom already new Jonah was sleeping over, seeming that it's a common acurance. We went up to my room and sat in a comfortable silence, until Jonah spoke. "Dani, I-I think I know why I was off my game today" he spoke quietly. "What was it?" I asked, clearly very curious. "I couldn't stop thinking about you" he confessed. "What do you mean?" I tilted my head to the side in confusion. "Dani, I like you. Alot. More then friends, in fact way more then friends. I-I think I Love you." He said sitting up and facing me. "I think I love you too jo"

"I need you to"

"Tell me right before it goes down"

"Promise me you'll"

"Hold my hand if I get scared now"

"Might tell you to"

"Take a second baby slow it down"

"You should know I, yeah you should know I"
