Corbyn was on a flight to see his family for the holidays. He would've brought his boyfriend, daniel, with him but they were currently going through a rough patch in there relationship.

As the blonde boarded the plane, he shut his phone completely off and put it on airplane mode. He want to think about Daniel as little as possible. On the flight to Virginia he blocked out any memory of him and daniel, good or bad.

When Corbyn arrived at his family's house, he was swarmed with questions. Some asking how he was doing and some asking how school was. But the questions he dreaded most were all about him and Daniel. They weren't doing relatively good at all but Corbyn put on an act and pretend everything was fine just to please his family.

The ground disappears

I hold back the tears

I check my phone to see your face

Staring back as if to say

Don't worry, you won't be lonely

When Corbyn got back him and Daniel almost immediately broke into a fight about absolutely nothing. It had gone on for so long that the whole world seemed to disappear. Both boys attempting to hold back tears but failing miserably.

Later that night Corbyn had gone on a walk to clear his mind. Almost every minute Daniel had called or texted him but Corbyn never answered. He just looked down at the screen and stared at the notifications. All Corbyn could see when he saw Daniel's face was the brunette telling him that he would never be lonely. All he could see was the Daniel he knew when they first started dating. The sweet caring Daniel that everyone loved.

Why didn't Daniel love him anymore? When their relationship was new everything seemed to be fine. Now it was like both of them were on different sides.

Daniel would always imagine his and Corbyn's relationship to be perfect. Them both on the same page. But with the constant fighting neither of them were.

So why didn't Daniel love Corbyn like he used to?

Few drinks deep at a table for one

Three missed calls at 2 AM

You say you never heard, you're late to get to work and then..

To get away from everything, Corbyn would drink. He'd blow all his money at a restaurant that Daniel loved, and would get completely wasted.

The blonde tried calling Daniel to pick him up but it was always way to late at night or way too early in the morning. The younger of the two would always use an excuse like, he never heard or he was running late, and would never get Corbyn and bring him home.

"Why?! Tell me why we both hold on to each other if this relationship was never meant to work out?! Why are we still here?!" Corbyn yells.

Him and Daniel were in another heated argument. The blonde had finally built up enough courage to confront Daniel about what was going on. The house was quiet until Daniel spoke.

"Because- because I dont know how to feel. I don't know if I love you they way I did before but I don't want to lose you! You're the only thing I have ok! We fight way too much and I'm sorry! It's all my fault!"

Daniel ran out of the house, slamming the door in the process, leaving Corbyn alone to process what had just happened. He had lost Daniel and there was no chance of getting him back.
