“WHO knew he would fall asleep like that?” She snicker as she walk to him. That part of his room had a lot of books. There’s no table or chair. But there are only pillows, big and small ones. He’s laying on one them with the shape of a dog?!
Slowly, she touched it only to be surprised that it was actually a real one. How come a dog came here? Or is it his pet? He has a pet? Since when?
“Oh well… I’ll just ask him.” She gazed at Holton. This is her first time seeing him sleeping. He looked nice sleeping like a baby.
Using her index finger, she played with his face. She traced his face from forehead, around his eyelids, nose and lips. ‘Such a pretty face,’ she thought.
She didn’t realize that she didn’t stop from gently rubbing his lips with her finger. She was surprised when her hand was grasped. “So you’re already awake… Get up now.” She kept calm, hiding the shock she felt then.
Holton swiftly got up, still clasping her hand. She felt kinda awkward because his face is just a few inches away. “Uhmm… H-hi.”
“Good morning! So, what brought you here? You want to sleep?”
“No.” she bluntly answered as she removed her hand from his grasp. She avoided his gaze. If she didn't do that, she might get carried away by his eyes.
“Then what?” he asked as he leaned forward.
She looked away. “I came here to invite you for breakfast.”
“What’s for breakfast? You?”
Her head automatically faced his direction with an angry face. She quickly covered her neck with her two hands on both sides. “Of course not! Before you’ll be able to do that, I’ll feed on you first.” She teased back.
He was surprised by her answer but managed to pull himself. “Go on.”
“What?”
“You haven’t got a taste of a vampire or human’s blood ever since you arrived, right?” He unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt and spread it’s collar.
She gulped as she had a clear view of his neck. “What are you doing?”
“Inviting you to drink my blood.”
“No!”
He pulled her and forced her head near his neck. “Drink it.”
