“WELL, will you come with me?” he asked as he held out his hand.
“Where?”
“Uhm. Anywhere.”
“Eh?” Her eyebrows raised.
“I mean, somewhere you know.”
“And where is that somewhere?”
He chuckled. “You’ll know it soon.” His eyes seemed to glitter and his smile showed his white teeth. His laugh was like music to her ears. It seemed dreamy, not to mention the cool breeze.
“Haruki?” he asked with concern painted on his face.
She blinked. “Huh? Uhm. What was that again?”
He smiled again. “I’m asking if you would like to come with me.”
“Uhm.” She looked around. There were only a few people strolling down the street and there’s no traffic on the road.
“This favor could be your payback to me.” He said as he reach for her hand.
“But—”
“Please?” He was staring at her straight into her eyes.
She bit her lower lip. ‘Gee. What should I do? Think, Haruki, think. Should I come with him? This was just the third time I met him. By this time around, Kazune might be searching for me already.’
“Please?” he asked with a soft voice as he gently squeezed her hands.
She sighed. “Fine. I’ll go with you just this once.”
“Thank you.”
“Another thing…”
“Yes?”
“Please make it fast. I just escaped from home. My best friend might be searching for me.
“Sure, no problem.” he responded then smiled.

HE’s manipulating the wheels and she’s sitting beside him. Just then, she heard a bark behind. She glanced at the backseat. To her surprise, she saw Light.
She gasped. “What are you doing here?” She asked it though she knows it won’t even answer her query.
“Oh, him? He’s my pet.” The man beside her responded for it.
Her head snapped to his direction. “Your pet? I think you’ve mistaken. This is a different dog. It may look like your golden retriever but this is Light.” she explained.
“I am rest assured that its my pet and I’m the one who named it, Light.” He ended his sentence with a smile curved on his lips.
Her eyebrows almost met. ‘How was that even possible?’
He stopped and parked the car.
Haruki glanced at the window. There’s nothing but tall trees around and an empty road which seemed to be endless. “Where are we? Seriously—” She wasn’t able finish her sentence as she turn her head to him . “What happened to your eyes?” She lean closer to see the defect. The pair of hazel eyes turned into blue. That ocean deep blue color seemed to be looking straight into her soul. Its as if this man knows her very well. “Holton?” she mumbled.
“Finally! You noticed it.” she heard him say. He chuckled once again.
She’s neither able to breath nor move for seconds. She blinked as she got back to reality. Haruki immediately opened the door and hopped off his car without even uttering a single word.
“Wait!” he exclaimed.
