Hours later…

I flipped in the bed again and again. I find it really hard to sleep. I continue rolling on the bed until… BLAG! I finally fell to the floor! “Ouch, that hurt…” I got up and fixed myself. “There’s only one thing to do.” I walked out of the room and noticed Lydia.

“Master Haruki!” she bowed.

“Ugh… Where’s Holton?”

“He’s in his room, master.”

“Umm… Where was that?”

“I’ll escort you to him, master.”

“Thanks.”

“It’s my pleasure, master.”

We strolled down the long hallway and few moments later, we’re already there.

“Here we are, master.”

“Thank you, Lydia. You may leave now.”

“Yes, master.” She bowed and left.

I took a deep breathe and knocked.

“Come in…” I heard Holon said.

When I’m already in his room, I noticed that he’s no there. I was searching for him when a door opened, probably the bathroom.

“Oh, Haruki.” He greeted wearing only a towel wrapped around his waist.

I quickly closed my eyes and trun to my back. “Don’t worry, I didn’t see anything!” I exclaimed.

He laughed. “Okay, so what broughtyou here?” He asked. I think he’s dressing up himself.

“I can’t sleep.”

“Oh… So what do you want me to do?”

I could sense that he’s already in front of me. His scent was hypnotizing. It’s a combination of shampoo, soap, mouthwash and that oh so manly scent! “Umm… Ahh… Make me sleep?...” I said, searching for words to say.

“You have mistaken of coming here.”

“Huh?”

“Because I may do to you the opposite.” He mumbled as he steal a kiss once again.

“Hey!” I opened my eyes to only close it again as I saw his half-naked body. “I thought you were done dressing up?!”

“But you didn’t even ask.”

“Wear a shirt, now!” I demanded.

“Yes mother… There, happy?”

I slowly opened my eyes then sighed in relief.

“You want o sleep, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Hop on my back.” His back faced me as he crouched.

“Eh?’

“Just do it.” He carried me in a piggy back style then opened the window.

“W-wait! Are you planning to commit suicide?!”

“Of course not. Hold on tight if you don’t want to fall.”

I did what he said and just closed my eyes.

-seconds later-

“Were here.”

I finally opened my eyes and jumped off his back. “Where are we?”

“We’re just on the roof.”

“WHAT?! W-where are we again?!”

“On the roof.”

“C-can we go back inside?”

“Why?”

“I-I have fear of heights.”

He suddenly pulled me to the edge of the roof.

“Hey! Do you want to kill me?!”

“Of course not. I’m just teaching you how to face your fear. Now look down.”

“No.” I mumbled, my lips shudder.

“Come on. Don’t be stubborn.”

“Ugh… I feel dizzy.”

“Because you’re looking at the smaller picture. Now try to include the houses in your sight.”

I lift my head a little. “I could see the whole village from up here.”

“What do you think?”

“It’s… beautiful…” I commented as I gazed at the lights so bright. What a beautiful province!

“Now look at an even bigger picture, include the mountains and stars.”

I smiled at the beautiful scenery in front of me. It’s as if I’m looking at a painting.

"Whenever you encounter something you fear, you shouldn’t just consider its wrath. Learn to seek the beauty around it.” he drawled, his voice became serious.

I smiled at the thought. “Just like you?”

He frowned. I suddenly felt guilty from what I said. “Are you afraid of me?”

“Well...” I looked away, thinking of proper words to say.
