Caged Dragon

Chapter 5

(Lucy POV)

Kinana told the old man what had happened to her and the reason why she apparently had cursed herself. Cobra was curled up around her, looking threateningly at the fat man and skinny man waiting for them to give him a reason to hiss at them.

Levy and the green haired man were working on the translations of Natsu's and mine chains, while I was trying to make sure that Wendy didn't get in their way. I felt a tug on my hair and I turned to see that Rouge was pulling my hair, I looked at him and I saw the small scar that was over his right eye. It reminded me of the scar that Laxus had, did they implant Sting and Rouge with one of those fake dragon things? Lacrima, I think that's what Laxus called them. 

I heard footsteps and I looked at the stairs waiting for the people to come down. 

I felt another pull on my hair and I looked at Rouge to see that he had buried his head in my hair, and I turned my head to the side to see Sting trying to eat my hair, then I felt a tug on the back of my head and I turned to see Wendy trying to pull my hair, copying the boys. I laughed at their antics and I got them to stop, by then I saw Gajeel coming down the stairs with three others following behind them. The knight, and the now shirtless man I knew, but the blue hair woman I didn't. Seeing as the man was shirtless, I covered Wendy's eyes, then Natsu used his tail to cover my eyes.

(Gray POV)

When I entered the dungeon, I saw that Lucy was covering the eyes of that little dragon, Wendy, and the large red dragon was covering Lucy's eyes.

"What," I asked them, not seeing the problem.

"Are you aware that you don't have a shirt on, because if you are, I would like you to put one on and stop destroying Wendy's innocence," Lucy told me, I looked down and saw that my shirt was gone.

"WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?!" I yelled in shock, I was wearing a shirt a few minutes ago.

"How do you not notice that?" Lucy asked me, shocked.

"It's a habit," I told her and she grabbed the two dragons at her sides, knocking the red dragon's tail off her eyes, and pointed at me.

"Sting, Rouge, this is a perfect example of a pervert, do not become like him," she told the younger dragons and the red dragon roared in laughter, literally.

"Hey--" I started to say, when I started to feel a sense of dread, I slowly turned around and saw Erza glaring at me.

"Gray," she snarled at me.

"Yes Ma'am," I squeaked.

"Get a shirt on and stop blinding the girl, or else--" Erza started to tell me, but I didn't wait around for what the else was, I started running up the stairs in search of my shirt.

(Lucy POV)

"And that is a perfect example of a smart man," I told Sting and Rouge as the pervert fled the scene. I was going back to talking to the two when I felt a familiar presence, or in this case presences. My head whipped around to the blue haired woman and I got up to run towards her, only to be stopped by my chains.

"Lucy, are you okay?" Levy asked me, but I ignored her and looked at the curly, blue haired woman.

"Do you have them?" I asked the girl, she looked confused.

"What do you think Juvia has?" the girl asked me, then a flash of recognition in her eyes and she pulled out a bunch of keys. 

"Are these what you are looking for?" she asked, holding out the keys for me and I nodded my head vigorously, reaching out my hands to grab them, yanking at my chains. Juvia, as she called herself, placed them in my hands. I quickly pulled the keys into my chest and hugged them. I am finally reunited with them, my precious spirits, three of the keys started to glow and I motioned Juvia forward.

"Do you have any water?" I asked her and she created a water bubble. I placed one of the keys in the bubble, and in a flash of light, three of my spirits had summoned themselves in front of me.

(Levy POV)

There was a flash of light and three people were in the room with us. A man in a torn-up tux with a lion tail and a pair of cat ears coming out of his head, he also had clawed hands and feet. A pink haired maid in chains and finally there was a blue haired mermaid, she had a blue tail and patches of blue scales on her body.

"What happened to you, you look different?" Lucy asked them, the lion man looked at her sadly.

"You weren't the only one experimented on, Princess," the lion man told her, Lucy looked like she was going to cry, she then looked at the mermaid.

"Brat, come here," the mermaid told her, and Lucy started to inch forward, almost like she was scared to approach the mermaid. When Lucy was in front of the mermaid, the mermaid went up and hugged her tightly, Lucy looked shocked by this action, but she returned the hug. "I was so worried about you, brat," the mermaid told Lucy and the blond started to cry.

"Aquarius, Leo, Virgo, it has been too long," Lucy told them and she hugged the mermaid tighter. I looked back at Natsu and saw that he was looking down in shame, the lion man walked towards the dragon and sat down with him.

"You did the best you could, Natsu. I mean look at you, they got you tied up pretty good," the lion man told Natsu, motioning at the chains. Natsu gave the man a low moaning sound, as if to say, 'I know but that doesn't make me feel any better,' the lion man gave the dragon a huff and with a pat on the shoulder, went back to Lucy.

"Can you tell us who you are, exactly?" Master asked the man, then I remember something that Yukino had told me in a conversation that we had.

"You are the golden keys of the Zodiac," I shouted, I realized that I was a bit loud, when I saw a few of the dragons wince. I quickly apologized and repeated myself quieter this time.

"Yes, we are, Lucy here is the holder of ten of the golden keys," the lion man told me, "I am Leo the Lion."

"I am Virgo," the maid told me with a bow.

"And I am Aquarius," the mermaid told me.

"If Lucy holds 10 of the Zodiac, then that means that she must be a powerful celestial wizard," I asked Leo.

"Yes, she is," Leo confirmed proudly.

"Oh, I need to get back to work," I said and I hurried over to my notes and continued to work on the enchantments.

"We need to head back as well; I am a bit sore from being forced to stay here for such a long period of time. Goodbye Princess," Leo told Lucy in a regretful tone, then he and the other Zodiacs went back to the Celestial Spirit World, just in time for Gray to come back, with a shirt on this time.

"What did I miss?" Gray asked as the golden magic from the vanished spirits disappeared.
