Caged Dragon

Chapter 14

(Romeo POV)

I heard the sound of a Vulcan, and I went to check it out, then I saw a pretty blue haired girl being held captive by a forest Vulcan.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" I shouted as I used my purple flare to force the ape to drop the girl on the ground.

The Vulcan then turned to me and started to attack me. I was going to use my flare on it again but he blew it out. The Vulcan lifted his hand to attack me but was stopped when a huge burst of wind flew above him. I watched as he went head first into a tree, then he ran away. I looked back at the girl, to see if she was okay. I looked at the girl that I had saved, I saw that she had blue hair with feathers in it. She had blue wings and feathers around her hands and she wore a white bracelet around one of her wrists, and then I looked into her eyes. They were pretty brown and looked almost like a reptile's. They started to glow pink, and I felt drawn to her.

(Wendy POV) Right after Romeo saved her

I saw that the person who saved me was a boy my age. He had purple hair and onyx eyes, when I looked at them, they reminded me of Natsu's eyes, when he was in human form. 

The boy looked like he was going to attack the Vulcan again, but the ape beast blew out the purple fire that was in the boy's hand. The Vulcan lifted its arm back to punch the boy. I took a deep breath and roared, blowing the ape away from the boy. The Vulcan had landed face-first into a tree, the ape looked at me then he ran away. 

 I looked at the boy and his eyes started to glow pink, like mine does when I turn pink. I started to walk towards the boy, and my feathers growing all over my body, covering me until I had turned into my dragon form. The boy didn't run away when he saw me transform, he was walking towards me instead. When he was close enough, he started to pet my feathers. I curled around him as he continued to pet me, and feathers started to continue to grow until I was as tall as Lucy. The boy was still petting my head when I asked him for his name.

"Romeo, Romeo Conbolt, a Mage of Fairy Tail," he told me.

"I didn't see you when my pack and I visited earlier," I told him, wrapping my body around him until he was covered in my feathers.

"You are one of the dragons that Kinana and the Exceeds were talking about?" He asked me, I nodded my head, nuzzling my head further into his hand as he combed through my feathers.

"Yes, I am the youngest of the pack," I explained, as I started to get tired as his hands continued to pet my head feathers.

"That's cool! I'm the youngest mage in Fairy Tail," he told me. I started to drift to sleep, the Vulcan had long since fled after seeing what he was dealing with.

"I am tired, I am going to sleep," I told him as I went to sleep.

(Macao POV)

"ROMEO! WHERE ARE YOU?" I shouted looking for Romeo, he went into the woods and he hadn't come back yet, so Erza and Gray were helping me look for him.

"WENDY! WHERE ARE YOU? WENDY!" I heard someone shout, and then Erza, Gray and I turned to see three of the dragons from this morning, in their human forms, with the blonde woman, Lucy I think was her name, was with them.

"What are you doing here?" Gray asked the fire dragon, Natsu, if I heard Makarov correctly when he told us.

"We are looking for Wendy, our youngest, she wandered off and we don't know where she is, because these two didn't watch her, Ice Pervert," the fire dragon told Gray, thumbing to the younger dragons behind him.

"What did you call me?" Gray hissed at the pink haired dragon.

"An Ice Pervert. When you walk around in your underwear what do you expect me to call you," Natsu told him, Gray looked down and saw that he was indeed in his underwear, again.

"Where are my clothes?" Gray shouted, making Natsu growl at the mostly naked man.

"Habit or not, you need to fix that problem of yours or we are going to have problems," Natsu growled at the ice-make wizard.

"Are you threatening me, Firebrain?" Gray asked the dragon, before the fight could escalate Lucy and Erza stopped them.

"We need to find both of the children, so if you two idiots can stop fighting and start putting yourselves to good use," the two women told them in harmony, leaking with dark intent.

"Yes Ma'am," the two men told the angry women.

"Good, now Natsu start sniffing," Lucy told the dragon and he sniffed the air.

"I got something, hey old fire mage," Natsu asked who I could assume is me.

"Yes," I answered.

"Does your son smell of fire and feathers?" he asked me, earning a whack on the head from Lucy and a strange look from me.

"I don't know, I don't smell my son," I told him.

"Most humans can't smell what their children smell like, Natsu." Lucy told him. 

"Well anyway, I think I found them," the fire dragon told us, leading the way to the kids. When we arrived, we saw Romeo asleep, snuggling up against a blue dragon, who I assume was Wendy, who was also asleep. She wrapped her tail around my son, holding him in the nest of feathers that was her body.

"Now that is cute, please tell me someone has a picture lacrima with them," Lucy asked us.  Erza, ever prepared, handed her one, and she took multiple pictures of the scene, each were printed via the lacrima. She hands one to each of her dragon companions and kept some for the rest of her group. I wanted to ask if I could have one too, but I didn't know how to ask. Before I could, she handed me a handful of pictures.

"I had some spares, here is your lacrima back," Lucy told me, as she handed the lacrima back to Erza. I looked around and saw that it was almost dark, and the moon was coming up. The stars had just started to come out from behind the clouds, and they were beaming through the trees, one of the beams of starlight touched one of Lucy's arms and she started to glow.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING!?" Natsu roared.

Another Cliffhanger, I am really sorry, I guess I am going to have to stay in this bunker longer, well I have the TV set up and I have multiple books and internet, so I will be fine. See you sometime next week, or maybe this week.
