Caged Dragon

Chapter 15

(Natsu POV)

"What is happening to me?!" Luce cried, as she was still glowing. Sting and Rouge went to go find the resident dragon that lives here, Wendy's aunt, Porlyusica, to see if she knew what was going on. When I had shouted earlier Wendy and the kid, Romeo, had woken up, Wendy was worried about Luce, too, so she was sitting by Luce in human form. Romeo left to get help from their guild with his father.

"I don't know, maybe that experiment that those humans did have something to do with this," I told her, I was sitting with her, rubbing my hand against her back. The Ice Pervert and the Erza lady were still with us, I don't know why they were still here by they were, and the Pervert was still in his boxers.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked them snappishly.

"We are worried about Lucy, too," the ice mage told me, I growled at him.

"Be nice, Natsu," Luce told me, tapping me on my head. We suddenly heard rustling in the woods. Wendy started to growl at the woods, her blue feathers starting to turn pink at the tips. We tensed up waiting for something to try and harm us, when the old man and two white hair ladies came out. I recognized the white hair lady as the barmaid that Laxus was looking at, and the other girl I noticed that she had blueish white hair, and she smelled like stars, in the same way that Lucy does. The women got closer to me and Lucy, and I started to growl, then Wendy went in front of me and started to growl, some of her feathers starting to turn pinker and her eyes were glowing pink.

"Wait, they are here to help," the old man told me.

"Yukino is a celestial mage, she might have an idea on what is happening to her," the barmaid told me. I looked at the girl and she showed me her keys to prove her friend's claim.

"And you are?" I growled, I didn't trust these people and neither did Wendy, when her feathers turned completely pink and her hair started to become wilder and the roots were turning pink.

"I am Mirajane Strauss, and this is Yukino Agria," the white-haired lady told me.

"Natsu, they don't mean harm, so stop and let them help, you too Wendy," Luce told us and Wendy stopped growling and her hair and feathers turned back to normal and her eyes stopped glowing.

"Thank you," Mirajane told her.

"I'm just making sure that they don't do anything that they will regret," Luce told them.

"So, what do you think is causing this," Makarov asked my mate.

"I think it might have something to do with the experiment that the men did," Luce told him.

"Why do you think that?" The old man asked her.

"Well after I calmed down enough to think, I remembered that stellanium absorbs starlight, so when they injected me with the stellanium the swirls act as a way to absorb starlight, I think," Luce explained to him.

"So, what do you think that the stellanium does with the starlight?" the old man asked.

"I don't know, but I am perfectly fine, I am not getting hurt, and not in pain so it can't be that bad. I will talk to the sky dragon in the area to get a full explanation, but until then can you go, please, Natsu doesn't like the Ice Mage, and I don't want to keep looking at him in his boxers," Luce told him.

"Well, if you are okay with that, Gray, Erza, we are going back to the guild," the old man told them and before he left, "Please tell us what is happening to you when you find out."

"I will," Luce told the old man and he walked back into the woods with the rest of the mages. Then a few minutes later Sting and Rouge came back with Porlyusica, when she entered the clearing, she scrunched her nose.

"I hate the smell of humans," the pink hair dragon told us.

"But you tolerate our mates," I told her, as much as she says that she hates humans, she likes our mates, Lucy helps her out in her hut and she helped Kinana by not telling Makarov who she was when she was in hiding.

"Hpff," Porlyusica scoffed, as she took us to head to her hut.

(Lucy POV)

'I get that Natsu is worried put this is too much,' I thought as the dragon in question was carrying me to Porlyusica's hut.

"You can put me down, Natsu, I am glowing, not broken," I told him, but he didn't budge and he continued carrying me until we arrived at the home of Wendy's aunt.

When we finally arrived, he walked inside placed me on the bed and waited for Porlyusica to get her tools.

Time skip

After the examination, Natsu was pacing around in a circle, waiting for Porlyusica to tell us what the stellanium is doing to my body. After what felt like hours of watching Natsu create a circle in the floor, the pink haired sky dragon entered the room.

"Good news, the stellanium is not harming her, in fact it is helping her regain lost magic," Porlyusica told us, Natsu let out a breath of relief, "But I want her here once every week so I can find out what else is happening."

"So, you are going to be the pack doctor," I asked her, "If you don't mind checking up on the other dragons."

"As long as they don't break anything then yes," the older sky dragon told me.

"Great, do you want me to give you the location of the other nests when we are done making them," I asked her.

"Yes, that will be helpful, now go the rest of your pack must be worried," she told us shooing us out.

"AND DON'T TELL THAT PERVERTED OLD MAN THAT I HELPED YOU! HE WILL NEVER LET ME HEAR THE END OF IT!" She shouted and we walked back to the location of the den, with me glowing the entire way. 

When we arrived, I saw that the nest for guests, visiting or new dragons of the pack were finished and we headed to one of the nests to sleep, until we made our own nests this was where we slept. I rest my head on Natsu chest and he wrapped his arms around me, and curled his tail around my waist, and then I drifted to sleep with the sound of his heartbeat.
