The day began to turn into a chilling night, faster than it usually did when it came to the winter taking over. Making it even more dangerous for people to walk the streets, all of their childhood monsters and demons lurking in the alleys that seemed harmless in the day time.

Some of them not realizing those monsters you read about hiding under your bed, was actually the one staring from afar. Waiting to get you alone, just so they can finally get what they've been waiting for; Most of them not taking notice of their surroundings. Just oblivious to what could be watching them or who, I sat in a junker vehicle. Awaiting for the right time to find her alone, I scratched at my chin when the lights turned out. The moment her friends left the restaurant, she waved goodbye before parting ways and going in the other direction.

I jumped out of the car, tucking the revolver in the back of my pants and buttoning up the blazer. Keeping every step I made quiet, as she walked along the pavement without a care in the world. Almost like the world didn't exist, passing by each New York citizen as if they didn't belong in her universe. The sun shades covering my face, as I walked in fast steps behind her.

Giving the group a fake smile, while nodding my head. Recognizing the alley coming up, before quickly grabbing her shoulders and pushing her into it. My hand slamming over her mouth, and placing the other one on her neck and squeezing. I watched as the black eyes grew large, causing her to scratch at my hand viciously.

The second her face began to grow pale under the neon lights, I could hear a bunch of people walking past. Noticing that it was still light enough around him for people to look in, and see what was going on. Without thinking, I let go of her neck, bending down to cover her face and kissing her. All of them barked, while their male friends whistled while passing by and looking at us. Once the rowdiness of the group had echoed far away enough, I pushed myself back in disgust.

Using the back of my jacket and wiping off my lips, before spitting towards the side. The girl stayed breathless as she looked at me in shock, not knowing what to do or say until her hand came up and attempting to smack me in the face. I caught her hand in mid air, looking at her in the eyes.

A gasp left her lips while trying to pull her hand back, the one my hand tightened on her and she whimpered. I dropped it before pushing her back into the brick wall, eyes widening like a deer caught in the headlight of the midnight hour.

"Where is he?" My voice deeper than usual, raising an eyebrow at her while she practically shook in fear.

She remained quiet, keeping her lips sealed together as I gripped her shoulders. Pulling her from the wall and slamming her back, a groan escaping as she closed her eyes.

The anger in me rising deeper, almost causing my vision to grow blurry. "I'm not gonna ask you again, bitch. Where the fuck is he?" My voice growled at her, all while she attempted to keep her eyes open from the last injury.
