She was growing shamefully restless. I could tell by the way she kept walking back and forth, looking out of the window as if Harry arrived.

If there was anything I learned about my best friend, it's that she definitely wasn't meant to be in this lifestyle. The world is too hectic for someone as loving as her, regardless of the opinions she values from others.

This is not a place meant for her, considering none of this is anything she asked for; After he left, I just recall telling her that I'd understand if she left me alone. Before she scoffed and just sat there, mumbling that I was crazy if I had thoughts about that. Any other day I think I would've smiled, before calling her a really good friend. But as of right now, I just wish she had been a selfish one.

Once the sun began to set behind the line of trees, I realized that it was gonna be a while until Harry came back from doing all of the errands. Which meant I didn't have much time, and Erica being paranoid is keeping me back from doing what I have to do; And I needed a good amount of time for it to be done properly.

"Should we call someone?" Erica asked in a low voice, glancing out of the window once again for the eighth time in a row. "It's been a while since he left, and I'm getting worried."

The truth was he had only been gone for a good four hours, give or take since it was all due to traffic and he had to go back to the E-state, and drive all the way back to the city. He was going to be gone for a very long time, but she didn't seem to understand that.

I understand that my friend was nervous, hell, there are times where I don't think I can take certain things. But we have too... and this is one of those times where we had to actually think rational, but there are a lot of things I have to worry about right now, and trying to make sure that my friend doesn't pass out isn't one of them.

"Who do you think we should call?" I pushed myself up, before looking at tv with Zayn's face plastered on the screen. "The police? I mean you can see how they feel about the situation, and I am certain none of those cops will be any help for us."

A sigh left her as she dropped the curtain, just before getting back into the bed with me. My legs had been wrapped in a series of fresh sheets, thanks to Erica who I had to basically convince to walk back to the entrance and ask the guy for new covers.

She didn't even want to leave the room, but I had to convince her that we needed fresh ones because the ones on the bed didn't look clean enough for me.

I was probably alone for at least five minutes, just before she came back in very nervous with a panicked look on her face.

"I'm just saying Ryder, we are stranded here with no type of car or money. And you don't have any shoes, the only thing present is a lot of candy wrappers from the vending machine and a gun."

"You say that like it's a bad thing." I snorted rather sarcastically, running a hand through my hair. "We pretty much have the upper hand for right now, at least.."
