The rest of the afternoon was filled with nothing but us shopping, buying random stuff for either purely amusement or it was a necessity. All of them started lecturing me on buying things for the baby, which was the exciting part.

I was excited to start getting things, but all of the other details just confused me. The baby book played a very important part on certain things, educating me on a breast pump and other small stuff I may need while considering the options. Not realizing how much say I had in this pregnancy, it was all overwhelming but nonetheless fun.

Since I was denying money from my mother and Zayn, my budget was extremely short and right now it was mostly focused on clothes for me and the baby. Especially right now since it was full on winter, I didn't wanna spend the rest of my pregnancy naked because I don't have clothes to wear. Caleb hated the fact of letting me pay for things myself , so I was very distraught once he pulled out his credit card.

When asking if that was gonna put a damper on any important bills, he just waved it off before smiling at me. The words 'you're worth it' cake from his mumbling lips, causing me to smile back.

Over time he has done nothing but showed me endless support, being there whenever I'd ask for help. Sometimes even when I didn't need it, he was there for everything. Even picked up a book of baby names, most of them being religious. Although it was very clear that I was going to be a single mother, some parts of me still wanted to include Zayn into my baby's life - I had no idea how that was going to happen at all. But I know I wanted to embrace his culture, probably use an Arabic name as well.

A sigh left my lips before shaking off the thought, continuing to walk behind as they fought over what Christmas decorations to buy.

Caleb looked around before glancing back at me, a frown on his face. "Why are you walking by yourself? Come here." He scolded me quietly, placing an arm over my shoulder.

My fingers clenching the bags in my hand, switching them to the opposite side and leaning into his side. He looked down at me, kissing the top of my head.

Erica looked behind at us, smiling at the sight of us. Meanwhile Taylor caught her sneaky glances, before following them and looking at us too. The look of her face a little more criticizing, not hiding the roll of her eyes before turning away. She liked Caleb rightfully, he was a completely nice guy. But he wasn't Zayn, and that's why she choose not to feed into our interactions.

She made it clear that Zayn was the option she wanted me to stick with, constantly being the one to say that he'll come back. And to believe in my relationship, but at the moment I don't think I had one anymore. We were never truly official, just calling each other those names without saying it. Back then I felt like we didn't even need one, considering the fact my actions meant something more. At this point we were just two people going through messed up issues, and at the time we confused into each other.
