The week seemed to pass by within the blink of an eye, before I had any down time to prepare it was finally here. It was officially the day our art gallery opened up to the public for a show, with a couple of my pieces being the main focus tonight.

Everywhere I turned people seemed to want to take a photography with me, or wanting an interview for their art program at high schools assignments. Which made me smile to see a couple of freshmen walk up to me, holding tape recorders in their hands.

I answered the series of questions, all having to do with the fact of what did I think about art programs. And organizations for troubled youth that wanted to adapt in art, giving my answer the best way I knew how before Hector drove me away to more interviewers.

The whole place filled with social elites, as a DJ played the list of songs I requested. Most of it being Jazz related or old school urban radio classic hit, few people didn't really seem to like my choices. But I shrugged it off, not really bothering to have anyone spoil an important night for me. A bunch of men and women dressed in business attire walked around, taking a look at a few of the sculptures I had made in my spare time.

Not all of them were apart of them were apart of my exclusive pieces tonight, most of them hanging in the back room. As they prepared the chairs, working on all of the technical issues so it was good for later. Carmen gave me a brief thumbs up and a wide smile, I giggled as I waved before she rushed off screaming at an employee to go to his assigned placement.

I looked around in complete awe of the place, before running my hand down my dress in admiration. Once Erica found out that I was the main presenter tonight, she and Taylor decided to force me to go shopping again the next day. We had spent hours in the mall, searching for the perfect dress for me to fit that hid the bump.

My fingers ran over the crystals that hung in a ninety degree angle, I smiled as my finger ran over a single bead. The dress was perfect in every single, making me feel beautiful as I walked around checking on everyone. Even making sure to look at the other art pieces the other employees and students created, I smiled when people started to follow behind me as they also became interested with their work as well.

Hector signaled me over, using a wave of his large hand in the crowd. I excused myself to the other customers, before rushing across the room to him. A list of more reporters standing there, holding out microphones while camera men stood behind to film every second.

I smiled at everyone giving a timid wave, he used that as advantage to explain why I was chosen this round. Most people were shocked once all of the news came out, but most of the reactions were good. All while I chose to ignore the other stuff, only focusing on the positive.

They listened as he told his story of why he respected my work, and that it was unlike anything he ever seen in his life. And that's why he was excited to showcase it to everyone, all of them feeding into his dramatic story. When most of the time I can remember him saying I was an amateur, needing to work on certain areas. But tonight he introduced me to the public, like I was a brand new toy at show and tell.
