Erica hesitated as if she wanted to interfere but decided against it, before nodding at me while looking down. I shoved the gun into the back of my pants, adjusting it to make sure it wasn't obvious that I'm walking around with a gun.

I placed my hand on the door, taking a deep breath to gain composure before opening it and rushing out. Erica closed it gently as she had followed suit, while I ducked behind a old pick up truck as a car pulled into the lot.

"We forgot shoes!" Erica whispered rather loudly behind me, as we rushed across the wet cold lott without any shoes on our feet.

My head slowly turned in her direction with a very deep scowl on my face , while lifting my finger to my lips. "Be quiet." My voice silent as the car got closer, parking exactly next to us.

Just in case if it was Harry, I picked around the trunk to make sure that it wasn't him. I sighed in relief when I seen a old 2009 red toyota, as a man got out the car while leaving his wife in it.

A sigh left me as my head rested against the rusted trunk, before I looked back at Erica who crouched next to me while shivering. My eyes had traveled down, looking at her bare feet on the wet pavement.

On the contrary my feet were really freaking cold, but I couldn't think about that at all right now. There are more important things on my mind, which involves me looking for a way to get back into the city. And I doubt this couple would actually open up their car, and waste gas on two strangers in a sketchy place at night.

It was obvious that she isn't used to it, even though I kind of felt bad about it. Part of me was happy that she didn't know anything about the pain I experienced, maybe she had been hurt before and it left a serious amount of trauma.

But it'll always be a little more better, although I would never compare our experiences. This was just me being grateful that she'd never go through what I did, because I wouldn't hope for that on my greatest enemy in the world.

When I seen the owner of that truck speaking to the clerk, my eyes went back to the car as I hesitated on doing exactly what was running —through my mind. Which is so humanely awful.

It just... needed to be done. And sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do. Even if it's wrong.

"Follow my lead." I whispered softly to Erica, putting up a finger to my lips one more time.

She nodded while I pointed for her to go the opposite way, as my eyes remained focused on the guy inside of the check in, looking annoyed.

My hands reaching into my pants and taking out the gun, after it was secured in my hands I checked Harry's packets and only felt a bunch of candy wrappers.

"Come on, Harry." A sigh escaping from me, I shoved my hand into the other pocket. Soft meshed fabric greeting.

Once I pulled the entire thing out in inspection, I had discovered that it was a subtle black scarf that he must've left accidentally. The soft fabric hitting the ground, as my eyebrows furrowed while looking down at it until an idea came to me.
