The van had stopped outside of Zayn's E-state back in jersey, part of me felt a little nostalgic coming here so soon after I thought it'd never happen again. But it was the opportunity of getting back into good graces with Hector, as much as that would mean of actually being on good terms with him.

And it was the chance of redeeming myself in every possible way, I just needed to keep my focus on doing a great job. There was nothing extraordinary going to happen, it'll be just be like any normal day. My first start on doing that was dragging Vincent with me, I had begged Hector about needing help.

He was against the idea of pulling anyone else from work, saying that it was my issue and client. Until I took a chance of throwing out the pregnancy card, which worked slightly. I could hear him sigh deeply and pinching the bridge of his nose, before gripping Vincent's jacket and yanking him back.

'He is always here, take him with you.' Hector stated in front of Zayn before rushing off, I had groaned to myself after mumbling about it for a couple of seconds. I didn't want to get any of my friends involved, especially not taking them back to his house.

But V was excited for it and Zayn didn't seemed opposed to the idea, maybe he knew that I needed a good friend around.

Someone that was just the opposite of Zayn, less intimidating and more friendly. A good person that I needed, although I was nervous about bringing him. That made me feel better about coming here, having someone that had my back just in case I needed them.

My friend was level-headed and knew how to handle himself, I felt safe being around him. That is what made us become such good friends.

Vincent gasped loudly at the size of the house, opened the door from the truck and standing in front of it with a wide mouth. I could tell all of this was amusing to him in a way, seeing the details everyone discussed on the streets.

But those are just rumors, there was nothing like witnessing the first glance at Zayn's life for the first time. Even I was shocked from time to time, not understanding exactly how he did it.

My phone buzzed loudly for the ninth time since I had left New York, after turning off my location from Caleb. Usually I shared it with him all of the time, just in case there was an emergency.

He was the one that knew where I was on a daily basis, not even Erica had the location privileges. After the attack of both of us, I didn't want to feel like I was monitored. No one wanted their life taken away from them mentally, at least I didn't for myself. I didn't want anything to change, because that wasn't healthy for me.

Harry decided to give me an ultimatum, while Caleb was instructing his concern for the baby and wanting me kept safe. And that's when I took a look at him and knew, he was the one that was going to 'watch' over me if you had to say that.

But as I turned it off finally after the last couple of months, somehow it just felt good taking a bit of hours for myself. After I finally slid my hand across the button, it didn't take long for Caleb to start calling me. My fingers holding over top of the button, struggling to find the courage to answer it.
