It had been another trailblazing week since that night of the gallery opening, also one exact week since Zayn had appeared back into my life. The whole thing making me feel anxious, while hiding away in my room as if he'd pop in our apartment.

But after that night of them fighting it was like he was gone again, which made me feel a sense of anguish. Even though I knew I should've been happy to finally get back on track, it felt good seeing him. Although I would never admit that to anyone, I was happy to see him being in good shape.

The thought about it also just made me feel sad, that he is way better off without me than I was. But it didn't matter since starting that night, I had gotten my cleanse and felt like it had been apart of the process. He stayed away after that, while Caleb didn't like the idea of being apart. It was incredibly different than what I am used to having, but I smiled at the thought of him needing me around. It had felt good.

Waking up in the middle of the night to Erica aimlessly knocking on my room door, telling me that I had a visitor. All of my emotions high as I gripped my robe, slowly getting up and nervous that it had been Zayn. But sighing in relief to seeing Caleb standing there, with another thing of flowers as he looked at me with guilt in his eyes. But none of that being on my mind at the moment, other than a dark cast appearing around his right eye.

I sighed to myself before putting the flowers down, grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the kitchen. We spent the whole night just talking as I held a frozen bag of peas on his face, while telling him only small details about me and Zayn. Once I was done he nodded in appreciation, thanking me for telling him the truth and opening up to him.

After that I had mumbled he was welcome until, both of us sitting there as looked each other. Caleb looking nervous, before asking if I had forgiven him. Until I made him promise that he wouldn't fight anymore, especially Zayn since I didn't want to see either one of them hurt. Once he gave me his word, I smiled before kissing him once again and dragging him back to my bedroom.

We had stayed together for the rest of our time being, until Saturday rolled around and the snow had died down again. The both of us taking an opportunity to go out on an official date, a chance to go ice skating while enjoying the winter. He eagerly skated around the rink as I watched from the bleachers, wrapped up in layers of clothing and sipping on hot chocolate.

The entire day had been filled with us doing a lot of fun things, in the span of three hours we had gone Christmas shopping. As I insisted him on what to get for his family, while his mother only gave him only two exacts days to get them before they all left. While getting that done and going out to eat lunch afterwards, until he surprised me with two tickets for the rockefeller center winter fest.

I watched as a bunch of teens sped past Caleb, throwing snowballs in his direction before rushing off before he could get to them. He shouted a endless amount of swears, looking my way to see me laughing at him. Feeling bad that he was going to be cold, I had covered my mouth to conceal my giggling as people stared at me.
