"Mayari. Please come."I came down to Earth at my brother's call. As soon as I am in human form, I run to him and give him a hug. "Brother."
"Mayari, I have news."
I look at his face and worry is instantly eased. "It seems like this is good news. Go ahead and share it."
He beamed brightly, as only he can being the God of the Sun. I check the night sky and, true enough, my moonlight has brightened.
"Alexandra is with child. I am about to be a father."
My one good eye widened; the other that expelled moonlight glowed. "Is this true, Brother? I will have a little nephew or niece to play with?"
He nodded and hugged me. We always loved children, human or otherwise, and I knew that Apolaki having his own was something that was very important to him. "I am ecstatic for you, Brother. Are you happy?"
"Yes. Yes. I worry about the pain that childbirth would bring Alexandra, but I cannot find the right words to express how happy my heart feels."
"Do not worry, Brother. She is a woman. She is strong."
Apolaki nodded. "I know this. But, I cannot help but be concerned. I dislike it very much when Alexandra is hurt or feels any pain."
"You feel her pain a million-fold. Yes. You love her very much."
"I do." He smiled at the mere memory of her. Then, he turned to me, "And what of you, my dear Sister. Do you not wish to find a partner?"
"I do not need one."
"I know."
"But..."
Apolaki turned to me.
"I have found him, Brother. He has finally been reincarnated. I have found him... again."
