Paolo
Married!!!
I was a bit embarrassed that I was taking her home to a barely furnished house, but when I recall that this was built because of both our hard work and we decided on the layout and the design, I feel very proud.
Our morning was spent unpacking our clothes in our new walk in closet. I took a break to get some water and returned to find Arra sitting in the middle of that room, doing nothing.
"Hey, you okay?"
She nodded. "Wala lang. We're sharing a closet... in OUR house. Wow."
"I know. I can't believe it either," I said. "I cannot wait until all our furniture and appliances come in!"
"Me too! Do you like how our house turned out?" She asked.
I nodded. "I like the choices we made."
The rest of the day was spent on inspecting the house again, receiving some deliveries and placing them in their spot in the house.
I managed to cook something for dinner even if we just had one pan and an inductive oven that night.
When we retired for bed, it hit me. "We really ARE married."
"Yes. Why?"
"Hindi na kita kailangan ihatid sa ibang bahay! I get to go home with you," I continued, still amazed.
She chuckled. "Ayaw mo ba?"
"Gusto! Gustong-gusto."
Because of the exhaustion from the wedding and moving in, Arra fell asleep quickly. I was too tired the night of our wedding, but now was looking at her and I again said a prayer. "Thank you for her. For setting everything up so that we could spend the rest of our lives together. Lord, kayo na po bahala. Teach me how to make her happy. Help me make this work."
She stirred and reached for me, but I wasn't in bed yet. "Pong? Let's sleep na please."
"Sige. Tulog na tayo."
Arra
Just like our first kiss, delayed yung honeymoon.
We fell asleep on the night of our wedding. Then, we moved in and had to fix up the house. Before we knew it, one week na kaming kasal and wala pang nangyayari.
Actually, we haven't even made out since we got married!
"Pong!"
"What?" He rushed to my side, worried that something bad had happened.
"One week na tayong kasal."
"Oh wow! We have to celebrate. What do you want for dinner?"
"Hindi yun!"
"Oh what?"
I was suddenly shy. "I, uh... hmm... I think we forgot something."
"What?"
I cringed but continued to say, "Kasi... umm... we haven't... I..."
"Arra, what?"
"Hindi ko pa sinusuko ang Bataan!"
He was stunned silent at first, then burst out laughing.
"Pong naman eh! We haven't even really kissed since last week! One week pa lang tayo malamig na yung pagsasama?!"
"Wow ha! Arte nun," he teased. "Hindi ba pwedeng pagod lang tayo and ayoko namang pilitin ka? Mangyayari naman yun."
"Pero normal ba'to?"
He shrugged. "Di ko alam. Hindi pa naman ako kinakasal before. Pero ganun tayo. Okay lang yun."
"Ayaw mo ba?"
"Gusto pero hindi naman yun lang ang reason bakit ko gustong magpakasal sa'yo." He moved closer and hugged me. "Don't fret. It will happen. And I'd rather it happens when you're in the mood and ready and not because you're trying to hit a timeline."
Ang swerte ko talaga dito.
He was right. A few nights later, we were just hanging out, watching a movie and we started to kiss... and more.
At naganap na ang mga dapat maganap.
Like I said, he was right. It was amazing that way.
I couldn't look at him in the morning, all of a sudden very aware of my attraction to Pong. "Morning," he greeted, kissing me softly.
As he ate, I just watched and said nothing. I was still craving! Shh Arra behave.
Pwede naman lumandi di ba? Asawa ko na'to eh.
"You okay?"
"Yes."
"You hungry?"
For you. Ay. "I ate na."
He frowned, stopping himself from eating his pancake. "Is something wrong? Did I hurt you last night?"
I blushed. Tamang sakit lang. Ay. "No."
"What's on your mind?"
"Pong? Don't take this the wrong way... but..." he waited for what I would say next. "Can... we do it again?"
He gave me a naughty smile.
Before I knew it, I was tasting the maple syrup from his lips. Our table was a glass top, so he deposited me on the kitchen counter where we stayed for quite a bit.
I couldn't stand when we were done so he assisted me in the shower and then tucked me in. "Rest. Magliligpit lang ako sa baba."
"Stay with me."
"I'll be back soon."
We decided to wait to have a baby but in one of our discussions in bed, my Pong Pagong asked, "Arra, if we have four sons, alam ko na ipapangalan ko sa kanila."
"What?"
"Raphael, Leonardo, Michaelangelo and Donatello."
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles amp.
"Sapak gusto mo?"
"Joke lang," he laughed. "Pero maganda yung Raphael eh."
I agreed. "Paano kung girl?"
"Paola."
"Wow. Ikaw kaya manganak."
He laughed. Then, looking at me, he said, "I'm still in love with you, Arra."
"I know. Naka-rest ka na ba?"
"Oo. Why?"
"Halika na, let's practice making babies na ulit."
