Note: Hello friends!!! First off, sorry sa long delay. I had horrible writer's block and had a lot to deal with irl. But here I am now! Second, I did want to publish the ebook but with everything that went on with the fandom, I wasn't sure if it was worth pushing through. Could you help me by letting me know if you still want the ebook published?

Sorry kung mahaba yung note but ito na... new story is up!

Uuuuuugggghhhh!

Sabi ko na dapat nag-leave na lang ako today eh.

I didn't sleep well, my skin has red splotches all over from allergies, I have an ex who's bugging me (again) and on my way to work this morning, another car rear-ended me.

When I got to work, sobrang daming issues. My boss got mad at me for something that I didn't cause, may isa pa akong palpak na report that I had to re-do and nasira pa yung shoes ko when I walked around for lunch and had to spend the rest of the afternoon limping around with my broken heel.

It's one of those I-should-have-stayed-in-bed days.

I couldn't book a cab or a car in those ride-sharing apps because it was still rush hour, so when I found a good pair of flats hidden at the back of my office drawer (yey, small wins!), I walked to the mall and decided to catch a movie.

There was a new romantic comedy out and it had two of my favourite actors so I definitely had to see it.

But just before I headed out, I saw this guy from work flirting with someone new. I rolled my eyes. Oh well, buti na lang hindi na ako yung niloloko niya.

Still, it stung.

Pero hindi ako iiyak.

Hoy, Mikaela Samantha Sabrina Ysabela Cruz Cruz, umayos ka.

So, that's what I did. I walked by them (kasi naman nakaharang sa daan), gave the guy a smile and walked out (ang dami kong dasal na wag akong madapa, Lord please).

Walking to the mall, purchasing my ticket... was a blur. Normal routine ko na yun. But because I was upset, as soon as I sat down, I started eating handfuls of my popcorn. It was not my usual flavor but di bale na. I just ate.

Halfway through the movie, I searched for wet wipes from my bag. "Bakit naman kasi chili barbecue flavor ang binili -"

Shit.

I would never buy anything chili. Not even at my most disoriented.

Also, ngayon ko lang narealize na nasa left side ko yung popcorn tub. Like, I had to extend a bit to get from it. Thing is, I'm right handed and usually placed my stuff on the right cup holders.

Shit. "Oh my god."

I sat back. Nakakahiya!!! I've been eating my seatmate's popcorn all this time!

Umalis na kaya ako?! Oh god. May mga kasama ba siya? Have I made an utter fool of myself? Should I offer to pay?

Oh my god. Earth, swallow me now.

I could feel myself sinking into my seat.

The guy beside me whispered, chuckling. "It's okay. Kuha ka pa if you're still hungry."

I gave him an embarrassed half smile. "Babayaran ko na lang."

His eyes twinkled in the darkness of the theater. "Don't worry about it. It's fine really."

When the movie ended, I scampered out and basically ran away — determined to leave that episode behind.

The following day, I got a message from an unknown number:

"Hi, Miss. You dropped your ID as you were leaving the movie house. It had your contact details so I'm sending this message. Just let me know how I can get this back to you. - Yuan dela Cruz, The Popcorn Guy"

Oh. My. God.

Will this embarrassment never end?
