Your POVOnce the bell rang, Garroth, Laurence and I walked out and started to head to the gym. I think I know where it is, based on the school schematics that I read. The right way around mind you. We walked through the crowded halls. Well, I walked. They stopped every second to high five a guy or flirt with some girls. I also got glares walking past. Weird... I'm normally hated on the second day. New record. I chuckle as I reach the gym. The guys have caught up by now. Laurence opens the door for me. I thank him and walk in. My jaw opens.
There were so many freshmen. There were groups of them everywhere.
"All we have to do is help them look for clubs." Garroth says confidently. I half laugh. This is going to be hell. Garroth gets catcalled from across the room by a group of freshmen girls. He waves goodbye and walks over to them. I shrug and look ahead. I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"You gonna be alright?" I turn to Laurence's voice. He was smiling down at me. I didn't even notice that the both of them were taller then me. I shake my head.
"I should be." I say, not very convincingly. He removes his hand, also taking away the heat from my shoulder.
"Good luck. I'll be around if you need me." He says as he winks and walks off. I grimace and start walking. This should be good...I walk around, assisting any lost or unsocial freshmen. This wasn't as hard as I made it out to be. It was just having conversations with nervous wrecks like myself. From the corner of my eye I see a kid get pummeled by a dodgeball. I spin around and speed walk over to him. A girl with raven black hair and amber eyes was poking him to see if he's still alive. A blue headed girl walks over as well.
"Is he... unconscious?" I ask while I crouch down. The raven haired girl looks so scared.
"I-I don't know... Travis!" She yells. I look at him. His eyes were closed and a red mark was starting to appear of his face. He had snow white hair.
"Look I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hit him." I look up to see the blue haired girl apologizing.
"I-Its fine." The freshmen replies shakily.
"Katelyn... What did you do?" Garroth walks up and addresses the girl. So your Katelyn... The raven freshman squeaks when he speaks. I shrug and kneel beside him, trying to wake him up.
"Dude wake up!" I yell. He doesn't respond. I see the blue haired girl walk away.My head turns back around to see him open his eyes. They were emerald and very confused.
"Oh nice, your awake. Welcome back." I say cheerfully. His cheeks flare up pink when he awakens.
"O-Oh, um, th-thanks. Ow.." He stutters, rubbing his cheek.
"Travis! Are you okay?" He turns to her, 'Travis' half smiles and stands up.
"I'm fine... that hurt though." He groans. I stand up. I turn to see Garroth still standing there. I turn back around.
"Why don't you take a seat, you seem out of it." I say, concerned. That hit was hard, and loud. He smiles nervously.
"I-I'm okay." He stumbles. His little friend speaks up.
"Actually, we're looking for a club! Could you help us?" She nudges Travis. I nod.
"Of course. Which one?" I ask.
"It was a Theater one." She says, unsure. I nod.
"I know where it is." I turn to walk but Garroth blocks me. I almost walk into him this time. I step back and grin.
"May I pass sir?" I say jokingly. He smiles and chuckles.
"Of course, have fun." He winks and walks off. Why was he just standing there? I shrug and lead the pair to the Theater Club.I walk off, leaving them to sign up. I learned the girls name was Aphmau, and that she's quite nice. I smile and look around for anyone else stuck. I feel a hand on my back. I spin around to my brothers grin
"Hey sis! Funny seeing you here." He says excitedly. I smirk.
"Hey Natty. Picked a club yet?" I ask. He pauses, then shakes his head.
"Nope. I don't feel like joining one." I nod.
"Yeah I feel ya. Nothing really interests me either." I look behind him to his group. There were about four freshmen eyeing me. Nathan follows my gaze and perks up.
"Oh yeah. These are my friends." He spins around. "Guys, this is my sister, Y/N." He waves a hand.
"Nice to meet'cha." I say warmly. They don't say anything.Nathan points at the first one.
"That's Trent, Will, Harry and Fraser." He points to them as he says their names. I'll probably forget most of them honestly. I see Laurence and Garroth walking towards me out of the corner of my eye.
"Dang Nathan, your sisters pretty hot." I look at the boy speaking, Trent I think it was. The others nod in agreement. I smirk, masking my glare. Nathan looks happy. I feel a hand in my shoulder. I turn to see Garroth and Laurence side glaring at the group.
"It's over soon. We have lunch in a few minutes." Laurence says, a little quickly. I nod.
"Is one of them your boyfriend? Already?" I turn to Nathan's upset and angry expression. I laugh.
"No. They're just my classmates." I reply smiling. He looks more content now.
"So.. Your single?" A boy asks, I think it's Fraser. I shrug.
"Yeah." I say blankly.
"So that means we have a chance with you?" I half grin at the response. I look to Laurence and Garroth quickly, they both looked mad. This could be fun.
"Perhaps." I say dismissively and walk off. I hear whispers as I walk through the gym doors. As if on queue, the bells rings. Lunch it is!
