Romeo's POV

"Please don't go!" I plead, hugging her arm as she went to reach the door. She groans then turns to me. She furrowed her eyebrows and stares blankly at me. She wore a F/C varsity jacket with her last name, L/N, and her F/N on the back, black short shorts and high top shoes.
"I'll be fine. It's just Laurence." She says carelessly. I frown.
"That's part of the problem!" I shout, as if it were obvious. I let go and cross my arms.

"Why? I thought you two were friends." She says, mimicking me by crossing her arms. I sigh.
"Yeah we are. I just don't want you to be with him. It's dark." I say, trying to convince her. She steps back and opens the door to reveal that it was still light outside. She pokes her head out the door.
"Dark huh?" She says, mocking me. I roll my eyes and put a hand on her shoulder.
"I just don't want you to get hurt." I say seriously. She turns to look at me. Her E/C eyes more calm.
"I promise I won't. I'm sure he doesn't like me like that." She beams, almost happy to be downgrading herself. I knew the truth though. I shake my head.
"Be back before 7." I command. She nods her head.
"Ey ey captain!" She yells before she walks out and closes the door. I groan and walk up to her room. I'll sleep until she gets back...

Your POV

I don't know why Romeo's being so protective. It kind of scares me, but it also makes me feel good. I knew he didn't like me hanging out with Garroth or Laurence, but he's not my dad, so I shall. I walk into the park. It's nice and green around here, the flowers were really vibrant as well. There seemed to not be very many people around. I walk on the bridge and check my phone. 5:01. I slip it back into my pocket and lean on the bridge, looking at the small river that ran beneath it. I smile as I watch it flow, it's quite peaceful.
"Hey! Y/N!" I turn to see Aphmau run up to me, wearing a purple shirt with shorts and sneakers. She looked nervous, yet excited. That's when it hits me.
"Hey Aph! Did Lau-" I cut myself off when I see someone over Aphs shoulder. She gives me a puzzled look.

"Hello ladies." Laurence says, walking up to us. He wore a green and black striped shirt, jeans and sneakers. He also wore a happy smile. Aph jumps back, apparently frightened by his entrance.
"Do you always have to do that?" Aph says.
"Sorry, I guess I just have a habit of doing that." He says, chuckling.
"Well, maybe a little bit of warning next time." Aph says firmly.
"I did, I said 'Hello!'" Laurence replies. Aphmau blushes and starts stuttering.
"Hey, don't get all mushy on me like that. I was enjoying your confident side." He says, stepping closer.
"C-C-Confident? M-Me?" Aph stutters. I half smile.
"Of course." He says smoothly. I feel like a third wheel... He turns to me.
"And hello to you to." He welcomes, winking. I grin.
"You two are too cute." I say, chuckling. Aph has turned red by now.
"I-I don't kn-know about th-that..." She says quietly. I beam. Laurence chuckles then looks at the both of us.
"I'm glad you both showed up, I wanted to hang out with you both more." He says calmly. I see Aph blushing a little out of the corner of my eye. I almost chuckle.
"Of c-course!" Aph says cheerfully. Laurence motions for us to follow him, so we do, and step off the bridge.
