"No!" I scream, throwing pillows at Romeo. He tries to defend himself against my mad pillow throwing. I quickly run out and wince as he steps closer. He combs back his black hair with his fingers and frowns at me.
"C'mon! We're going and that's final!" He states, sounding like a father figure. I shake my head and cross my arms.
"Never! Good luck trying to persuade me, because it won't happen." I say, a smug smile beaming on my face. He groans and steps closer, grabbing my arm. I hold onto the bed frame with my other as he pulls me."It's only dress shopping! We'll be with the rest of the group anyways!" He urges, quickly losing the strength to pull me. I let go of the bed frame and smack into him, making up both fall to the ground. We both groan as we sit up, Romeo pushing me off of him.
"But I don't wanna go." I say. He huffs loudly.
"Is it because you don't have a date?" He asks. I shrug.
"That's part of the reason." I say, standing and helping him up as well.He ruffles his hair and quickly grabs me, throwing me over his shoulders.
"Hey!" I yell, hitting his back and trying to wiggle off. Needless to say, it didn't do much. He carries me down the stairs and drops me at the door."C'mon, lets go! We're almost late." He urges. I reluctantly get up and walk outside to see my mum in the car on her phone. I get in the front while Romeo slides in the back. And like that, we're off to the shopping center.
As we walk in, we see familiar faces talking to each other. I sigh and walk in, ignoring the many salesmen at the door. The group all turns when we approach. I look up to see Garroth, Laurence, Aphmau, Travis, Dante, Katelyn, Lucinda, Kawaii~Chan and the black haired guy that Aph was with. We walk over and greet everyone.
"You ready?" Aph asks. I nod and look over to the other guy.
"Names Y/N, and you are?" I ask, offering a hand. He pauses and stares at my hand for a while.
"It's Aaron." He says, not taking my hand. I nod, kind of saddened that he didn't take me hand. I guess Romeo noticed because he came up beside the guy and shake my hand instead.
"Howdy pard'ner!" He exclaims, shaking my hand wildly. I giggle and drop my hand.
"Howdy sheriff." I reply, tipping an imaginary hat. The group gets a laugh out of our act and we start to head to the shops. We stop in front of a dress shop and the girls struggle to drag me inside.
"I'm not really fond of dresses!" I scream, as if i would save me from my fate. They ignore me and pull me inside, leaving the guys out the front of the store staring at us.I'm immediately confronted with dress choices as the girls waltz inside, soaking up all the pretty dresses. I stand at the back, leaning against a wall, peering around at the wild animals. That's seriously what it seemed like. I've never seen them scurry around so fast.
Lucinda strolls up to me, flashing two dresses. One was strapless and red while the other was really short and a vibrant orange, with white polka dots around the waist.
"Come on, what about these two? They'd be cute on you." She says, trying to convince me. I shake my head.
"I'm just here for you guys, I'm not looking for anything." I say, hopeful that I wouldn't have to endure choosing and trying on anything. She lowers the dresses and tilts her head.
"Do you already have a dress?" She asks, a little disappointed. I shake my head.
"No." She throws the dresses on a seat and shoves me towards the others.
"Then you're getting one!" As I'm pushed forwards, I usher a small prayer to be alive by the end of this. It's been about an hour or so, but we've finally chosen a dress. I thank the employee as I take my bag and walk out with the others. I actually found one that I liked. It was a F/C and fitted me perfectly.
(It's this but whatever your favorite color is)
We walk out see the guys with bags as well, seemingly bored out of their mind. Romeo's head shoots up and glares at us.
"We could've turned into statues from how long it took." He groans, flailing his hands. Katelyn shakes her head.
"Don't worry, next time we'll take longer." She smiles. They all sigh and start to walk with us out of the mall. Garroth and Laurence walk beside me."Can we see your dress?" Laurence asks, peeking into the bag. I close it and swat him away.
"Nope." I say, popping the p. I hear Garroth chuckle.
"Pretty please?" He begs. I shake my head.
"You'll have the chance to see it at Prom." I smile. "That is if I go." They both look shocked.
"Why wouldn't you go?" Laurence asks, a little too quickly. I shrug.
"Well, I don't have a date and I'm not very fond of that sort of stuff, y'know?" I shrug. They both share a wide grin.
"Well, I hope you come." Garroth comments. Laurence nods along. I look down as we walk through the sliding doors.
"Maybe."
