Your POV

I walk to school alone, lost in my own thoughts. I was completely emotionless. I had cried for an hour or so after I had seen the contents of the envelope. I couldn't believe it, but pictures don't lie. I walk through the school gates, wondering what would happen. I shouldn't have gotten attached to them. It was a mistake and it wasn't one I could easily correct. I feel like an idiot. I have a feeling that when I see them I'll lash out. Or I'll just be silent. I look back to see students piling in from the front gate. I had ditched my brothers and Romeo a while back, I wonder when they'll catch up?

I sat on the water fountains edge, dreading when I'll see either Laurence or Garroth. I just want to disappear. I wasn't mad at them or Aphmau, I was mad at myself. Mad for letting my emotions slip. Mad for loving them. Mad at everything I was. Deep down, I knew I was over reacting, and that it was truly their fault. But I can't blame them. Who would actually like me?

I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see a very upset Romeo.
"Why did you leave us?! I was concerned!" He grumbles angrily. I stare at him for a few seconds before letting myself go. I jump up and hug him, clinging on for dear life.
"I'm such an idiot, I'm such an idiot..." I repeat, burying my head into him shoulder. He rubs circles in my back, trying to reassure me.
"Y/N... what happened? Please..." he whispers. I sniff and nod.

He takes my hand and guides me to the forest besides the school. We sat down on a log and I cry for all I'm worth. I don't usually cry, but I couldn't control it. I had to let it go. He hugs me and my tears soak up his uniforms shoulder. I calm down and tell him everything. Starting and stopping to catch my breathe. I told him about how I liked those two, how they both kissed me, how I thought they liked me as well, and finally about the pictures. The pictures of Garroth and Laurence kissing Aphmau, each at different times.

The forest stayed quiet for a while as I finished telling him everything. Romeo stood up and punched a tree. I jump up and grab his hand, trying desperately to make him stop.
"How dare they!" He says, punching the tree again, his knuckles now bleeding. I push him back away from the tree and see his eyes glaze over.
"I'll make them pay for hurting you Y/N, I swear." I put my hands on either side of him and weakly smile.
"You don't have to Romeo. I'm just upset over nothing I guess..." I say, my voice cracking.
"No! They toyed with your emotions! You deserve so much more."

He whips out his phone and dials somebody. He walks off, so I don't know who he's talking to. He walks back and gives me a hug.
"I've called your parents and texted your brothers, your staying home today." He explains. "I've also called Kyle and Jack." I flinch at his words, then sniff and smile brightly.
"Thank you Romeo. I kind of need this." He beams and we start to walk home, ignoring all the questioning faces we walk past.

We see Garroth and Laurence talking by the fountain. They whip their heads around as soon as we glance at them. They run up to us right before we leave the grounds.
"Where are you two going?" Garroth asks, recovering from the run over here. I almost stop but Romeo wills me to keep walking.
"Y/N is going home." Romeo replies gruffly.
"Why? Are you sick?" Laurence asks, concerned. I turn and they freeze as they see my state. Red and puffy eyes from crying and tear streaks down my cheeks.
"What... what happened?" Garroth whispers, stepping closer. Romeo holds out his arm and blocks him, leaving him a foot or two in front of me.

"I'm fine. See you tomorrow." I say in a monotone voice, turning and getting ready to walk off.
"Y/N! Please tell us what's wrong." Laurence begs. I scoff and turn around again, this time frowning. I grab the envelope from my bag and hand it to them.
"Goodbye Garroth and Laurence." I say flatly. Romeo and I finally walk off, leaving the two stuck with shocked faces as they study the pictures. We walk far enough away to block out their screams and shouts for us to come back. I reach in my pocket and pull out another copy of the two photos. I guess it's a good thing that Gene put two in there...

Garroth's POV

We watch as Y/N and Romeo walk away, leaving us with the pictures. Both equally ashamed.
"We... we should've told her sooner." Laurence mumbles, his eyes glazed over. I nod sadly.
"Yeah but we didn't." I mumble angrily, scuffing my shoes on the concrete.
"We need to apologize." Laurence sighs, already thinking of ideas on how to do it. The school bell sounds out and we hesitate before walking back towards the school. I can't tell you how sorry I am Y/N...

Your POV

"I can't believe this." Jack mutters. I show a sad smile. Kyle and Jack had come to my house as soon as Romeo and I got home. Dad called the school and said that I wasn't coming today. We were sitting on the couch talking about it. Romeo sat to my right while Kyle wrapped an arm around me on my left and Jack sat next to Romeo. We had snacks and drinks on the table, all lined up ready for a movie. Romeo was adding comments as well as scrolling through Netflix to find a good movie.

"Actually..." Kyle paused, "Romeo, why don't you take Y/N to your Prom? That'll make them jealous as heck." Romeo stops scrolling and perks up.
"That... could be a good plan. Are you okay with it Y/N?" He asks, looking hopeful. I think about it then nod.
"Yeah why not? Sounds like fun." We high five and he goes back to searching.
"Don't you worry Y/N, your so much better then them anyways. You'll find someone that treats you right." Jack adds cheerfully. I smile and chuckle a little.
"I hope so." I say, as happily as I can muster. Kyle pats my back and grins.
"That's my girl! But if you ever need, we can break in to your Prom." He winks. I smile and shrug.
"You'll be too busy flirting, let's be honest here." I laugh. The guys laugh except for Kyle, who fake chuckles.
"Ha ha. But it may be like that. Being homeschooled means that you can't flirt with girls much." He grumbles. "And an un flirty Kyle, is a sad Kyle." He says, pouting.

The movie finally starts and I snuggle up to Kyle while stretching out my legs out on Romeo. I was very comfortable, and for the moment, I forgot all about my boy problems. I was perfectly content with my best friends here with me now.

Laurence's POV

I walk past Nathan and Zyler, who were both looking concerned and talking in the hallways. They both glance at me with cold and angry expressions. I stop and turn back to them.
"I'm sorry, I should've been honest earlier..." I apologize. They stop leaning against the lockers and walk past me.
"We're not the ones you should be apologizing to." Nathan says, almost emotionless. I look down as the weight of this mistake pulls me down further. I need to make this right. If only you knew Y/N..
