Your POV

I walk up to my locker and take out a few books. I try my best to ignore the constant chatter and yelling from everyone around me but I can't quite do that. Kids will be kids I guess. I step back and watch as my locker door gets slammed. I don't flinch, but I just stand their frozen for a few seconds. I look to my right to see Laurence leaning on another locker and smirking at me. I shake my head softly and grimace.

"Way to make an entrance." I say bleakly. He grins and beams.
"Good morning to you too beautiful." He greets cheerfully. I stifle a laugh and start to walk to my next class. It doesn't take him long to maneuver through the crowd to catch up to me.
"I was wondering," he begins, barely ducking as a book flies over him. I laugh loudly and search for whoever threw that.
"Whoever threw that, try to work on your aim! You might hit him next time!" I yell out, trying to keep a straight face but failing. No one owned up but everyone around me just laughed.

I turn to a pretty upset Laurence. I shrug and walk up the stairs, walking up in twos.
"Before I was interrupted, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to watch me at soccer practice." He asks casually. I glance at him and raise an eyebrow.
"I thought you had an army of fans?" I ask jokingly, earning myself an imaginary point.
"Well, having you cheer me on would make me feel better." He responds, winking at me. I brush it off and stand in front of my first class.

"After school at the bleachers?" I ask. He nods, his eyes dancing with excitement.
"I'll think about it. See you Laurence." I say, turning and walking into my class.
"Bye beautiful." I hear him say, barely audible for anyone to hear. Anyone but me. I walk in and take my signature seat besides Zyler. He shoots me a glance and a weary grin.
"I wasn't aware that Laurence was your boyfriend." He whispers to me. I scowl and shrug.
"He's not. And I won't be able to walk home with you guys today, I'm watching a friends practice after school." I explain. He nods slowly.
"Don't you mean your boyfriends practice?" He asks, now speaking a little louder. I freeze and debate on whether I should stand up and beat him up.
"No!" I hiss, now aware that some students were staring at us. He leans back and stifles a laugh.
"Sure sure N/N."

I walk out to lunch and almost laugh as I see who's in my seat. Everyone's head whips around and smiles at me as I approach
"Oh, hello Y/N!" Garroth says loudly. Ivy turns around in her seat to face me. Her expression was happy, well, until I showed up. I smirk and scratch my neck.
"Am I interrupting something?" I ask, unable to stop smiling. She looked well and truly upset. If looks could kill I would already be six feet under. It's a shame I didn't care.
"No not at all." Romeo says sarcastically, "but it seems as though Ivy is in your seat." He glares at her. She obviously didn't get the hint. I grab a juice box out of my bag and punch the straw in, taking a relaxed slurp.

"I don't care! Gerreth is taking me to prom!" Her annoying voice echoes in my mind. I spat out my juice, spraying the floor next to me. I feel my heart drop to the core of the Earth. I stiffen.
"Waste of good juice." I mutter, "gee uh, congrats." I look at Garroth, who's face was as shocked as me. I remain a stone as I look at the two of them.
"Your still in my seat." I say bluntly. She flashes a sickly smile and grins at me. I hate that look.
"It's actually mine right now. Get over it, no one wants you here." I let out a short lived laugh as I walk over to Romeo. He immediately gets up and high fives me.
"Lemme guess, you forgot your lunch?" He smiles and sadly nods.
"Yeah..." he replays sadly. I shrug. We both secretly smile at the fact that we're ignoring Ivy.
"So did I. Let's go get something." His face lights up and we walk to the canteen.

I turn and wave to the group.
"Be back soon!" I yell. They nod and I eye Garroth, who looks like he wanted to be as far away from here as possible. He stares sadly at me as we leave. I mouth 'I'm so sorry' to him before turning around and walking with Romeo.
"Your opinions?" I ask. He scoffs and shakes his head.
"I'm not allowed to voice profanities, but I really hate her." I slap a hand on his shoulder and chuckle.
"I'm glad we share the same views." I remove my hand and get out my money.
"Thanks for getting me out of there, I don't want her to be a mile near me." We both turn and look longingly at the table. I knew they wouldn't be moving, it's our table after all.
"It's nothing, I just wish we could get everyone away from there." He slowly nods and sighs.
"We aren't miracle makers Y/N, but man, poor Garroth."

Everyone disperses from school as I walk out to the bleachers to see the soccer team training. I hop to the top of the bleachers and get some homework out.
"Might as well.." I mutter. I watch each of the soccer players, trying to find a certain one. I stop when I see him, smirking and looking directly at me. I feel heat rise to my cheek from embarrassment. How did I not notice him earlier. He gives me a wave before turning to jog away and start to do drills.

I don't pay much attention as I draw on my page. Scribbles surround my homework and unfinished math problems. The teacher keeps changing the slides way too fast.

"Hey, I'm glad you could come." I look up to see Laurence all sweaty and grinning at me. I close my book and give him a half smile.
"I don't mind, I just wish it wasn't so hot." I chuckle a little as he sits besides me.
"You and me both." I immediately flinch as his knee touches mine. I push him away.
"Gah! Your all sweaty!" I say, struggling to keep him away. He laughs as he fights off my flailing hands, intwining his fingers with mine and pushing me back.
"Oh come on, you love it~" he cooes. I feel my back get pressed up to the side of the bleachers wall so I stop resisting.
"Alright." I sigh, "you win!" I still keep pushing back, fearful that he's going to crash into me if I stop.

He seems happy as he leans back and gives a winning smile.
"I know, I'm the best." He beams. I roll my eyes and chuckle.
"Yeah yeah whatever. Can I have my hands back?" I ask, motioning to our hands still intertwined. He shakes his head and smirks.
"Nah, I like it." He winks. I sigh and let out a short lived laugh and I feel myself blush a little.
"Can I at least have one free? I need to put my books in my bag." He nods and lets go of one. I use that one to awkwardly shove my stuff back into my bag.

We get up and start to walk out of the school grounds, with me struggling to get my hand back. The only thing he does is laugh at my attempts.
"Why didn't you have a shower?" I ask, giving up on the fight to get my hand back. He shrugs.
"The cool breeze makes me feel better then taking a shower. I'll have one when I get home anyways." He glances at me. "And I didn't want you to wait too long."
"I don't mind waiting." I shrug. "And besides, your practice kept me occupied." He smirks.
"Good to know you were checking me out." I feel heat rise to my cheeks as I push him away.
"No! The only thing I was checking out was your poor technique!" I say trying to defend myself. He walks back next to me and grimaces. I look down and silently cheer as my hand is now free. Though I didn't quite mind...

"How so? Which part was it?" I pause and think back to the practice, actually serious.
"Well, your team was always dribbling straight towards the opponents, then they would always get trapped with no way to pass out. If they took it slower and actually observed their surroundings, then they could avoid the player entirely." I explain. He seems shocked and impressed.
"Well, now that you mention it... Yeah that does happen a lot." He nudges me and winks.
"Thanks for the pointers. I'll get my team to work on that."

We arrive at my house and I say goodbye to Laurence. He gives me a hug before walking off. I walk inside and go to my room. I shut the door and flop onto my bed, spilling the contents of my bag out on my bed. I had completely forgotten about the envelope until now. I sit on my bed and carefully open it. What was this 'information'? I flip the two photos over and feel my heart drop down to the floor. Tears start to form as I look at the two pictures. I blink away the tears as my voice breaks.
"No... Why..?"
