Nathan's POV

"You guys ready?" I whisper. The three nod their heads. I smile evilly. "Let's begin!"

Romeo walks over to the power box outside the house. He gives me a thumbs up when he's pulled up the case and put a finger on the switch. I nod, then turn to Laurence and Garroth. Laurence was dressing up Garroth.

We had this prank planned out perfectly. Laurence gave a thumbs up when Garroth was dressed in the outfit I gave him. It was a hockey mask with a cloak, as well as a fake machete that looked kind of real. Laurence, Garroth and I walk outside to where Romeo was.
"Now, we wait for her to come." I say, they all nod. This was going to be amazing. Our plan was to pull out the power and have Garroth appear and scare her when the lights came back on. Perfect.

Your POV

I reluctantly get up off of the couch and walk over to the kitchen. I really want a sandwich... I put my phone in the counter and grab out the bread, a butter knife and of course, the Nutella. I spread Nutella on a slice of bread. Generously might I add. I put it all away and put the other slice of bread on top.
"Mmm." I mumble, idolizing the sandwich. I was about to take a bite when the lights go out. I put down the sandwich and search for my phone. I find it and use the flash to look around.

"Seriously?" I whisper. I turn around and see a black cloaked figure with mask. My jaw drops as the lights come back on, revealing the figure. I put my phone on the counter, still staring at the figure. He seemed to have a machete...
"I like your knife." I say blankly. It raises it up. I hold up a finger.
"Hold up dude." I say. I was more curious then scared for my life. The figure tilts its head and slightly lowers the weapon.

I hold up my sandwich and take a bite before opening the drawer. I quickly pull out a butchers knife and point it at the figure.
"Get the hell out of my house." I say, completely serious. It looked taken a back.
"Wait!" It says, muffled. The lights go out again. I hold up my phone and turn on the flash. It takes the mask off and I stare at the face.
"Really Garroth?" I say, disappointed. He scratches the back of his neck, then stares at me.
"We were expecting you to be more scared." He chuckles. I grin.
"Well, it was a good idea." I say, encouragingly. He nods sadly before stepping closer. I turn the flash off, and put my half eaten sandwich and phone on the table, as well as the knife.

"So, when are the lights going-" I get my sentence cut off by a pair of lips crashing into mine. I blush as I realize who it is. He pulls back and starts to panic.
"Ah! I'm sorry, I-I don't know what came over me." He says apologetically. I couldn't see him in the dark, but I'm glad he couldn't see me, I was probably a blushing mess.
"I-Its o-okay. That was, um, kind of my first kiss..." I say, whispering.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to take that from you." He says sadly. I smile.
"Hah, that's fine." I assure him.

The lights come back on and I immediately realize that I was staring into his eyes the whole time. The boys walk in, almost upset. I quickly break eye contact.
"It didn't work, did it?" Nathan says sadly. I nod, shaking off that whole experience. I notice Laurence looking at me suspiciously.
"You boys need to step up your game." I shrug. Romeo scoffs.
"You only say that because you watch too many scary movies." He complains. I nod happily.
"Your just upset because you can't watch them with me." I reply smugly. He flinches.
"N-No! I'm just not into scary movies." He says defensively. I shrug and pick up my sandwich and phone, putting the knife away and closing the drawer.
"Sure, sure. Well, nice try." I say, waving to all of them.

I rush upstairs and lock my door, flopping on my bed and go over what just happened. Garroth... kissed me. Woah.
