Your POV

The bell went and we all scurry outside of our classes, making a break for the cafeteria. I make it and look around. I don't see much because of the crowd blocking me. I sigh and wait patiently for them to move.

I feel myself get shoved from behind, then stabilized back.
"Oh! I'm sorry! Are you okay?" I hear a voice say. I blink a few times before I turn my head to see a guy. A werewolf actually. He had multicolored eyes and red hair, as well as black ears and a worried face. I nod and feel myself get let go.

"I'm fine. Thanks for catching me." I smile. He lets out a sigh of relief.
"I'm glad. I'm Blaze." He says, outstretching a hand. I shake it.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Y/N." I reply he nod.
"I'm guessing your a sophomore?" I nod.
"Yeah! Although I started attending this year." I respond happily. He grins.
"Cool! So am I."

"Blaze! Blaze the werewolves are fighting again!" We both turn to a werewolf with green hair and blue eyes running towards him with two others following him. One of them was a girl with blueish purple hair with blue eyes while the other guy had brown eyes and hair. They seemed exhausted when they stopped in front of us.
"Where?" Blaze says, peering around. It takes a few seconds for the green haired guy to respond.
"Near the lockers!" He responds. Blaze turns to me.
"Sorry, I'll be back. Talk later!" He yells, running off.

The trio turn towards me.
"I-I'm Daniel! This is Rylan and Dottie. And of course that was Blaze." He says sheepishly, pointing in the direction that he ran. I smile.
"It's nice to meet you all, I'm Y/N." I greet. "What was that about fighting?" I ask. They all shrug.
"Werewolves normally fight, so Blaze tries to break them up. Though the Alpha should really do that..." Rylan says, trailing off. I raise an eyebrow.
"An Alpha? Isn't that the leader of a pack?" I ask. They all nod.
"Yeah! Ours is, well, kind of mean. But we obey him nonetheless. He is our Alpha after all!" He states proudly. I grimace.

We all hear a window smash. We all spin towards the hallway to see a teacher walk up to it.
"Gah! Keep your fighting away from the windows!" He shouts at whoever it was and runs back.
"That's pretty normal." Dottie says, reading my expression.

"I have a lot to learn then." I say, shaking my head. Dottie grabs both my hands, her eyes twinkling.
"We can teach you! You'll love werewolves culture!" She shrieks. I nod happily.
"Sounds fun! When do we start?" She pauses and stops jumping up and down.
"Why don't we sit on the bleachers? We can teach you the basics." Rylan suggests. I nod and match their pace, heading outside for the bleachers.

Laurence's POV

We've been staring at Y/N ever since Blaze caught her. She was following the trio of werewolves outside, talking and laughing, as if they were old friends. Maybe they were, but she was meant to be sitting here, laughing and talking with us. I look at the empty seat to my left and sigh, noticing Garroth was looking at the empty space as well.

I see that Romeo was not affected at all.
"Why do you think Y/N went with those werewolves?" I ask him, his head turns to me and he shrugs.
"I don't know. Maybe making new friends." He says simply, and goes back to eating his sandwich. I bite my lip, thinking about what could be happening. I shake my head and reframe from thinking that. There's no was she's in danger. I know little about those werewolves, but apparently they're the nicest bunch in the school.

I glance back towards the hallway to see Blaze looking around. He seems to sniff the air before walking to the door and heading out. I can't say the same for Mr superhero here...

Your POV

"Wow. Werewolf culture is cool!" I say, admiring all the things they were teaching me. Even Blaze had come out to talk and help. They all beam.
"Yeah! I know right!" Dottie exclaims, throwing her hands in the air. The bell goes and they put the werewolves books back in their.

I feel myself get nudged. I turn to see Blaze prodding a book at me.
"Take it home, you'll find out more." He prompts. I smile and take it, putting it carefully in my back.
"Thanks! I'll read it tonight." I say, slinging my bag on my back. The other three walk ahead and wave behind them.
"Bye Y/N! Bye Blaze!" They yell. We wave back and start walking.

"What class do you have?" He asks, as we walk back into school.
"Art." I cheer, before suddenly feeling down. He doesn't seem to notice.
"Oh cool! Mind if you walk you there?" He asks. I nod.
"Sure. What's your class?" I ask. He smiles.
"Engineering." He replies. I smile.
"That's awesome! Is it any fun?" I ask. He nods.
"Yeah! We do robotics and stuff. Kind of complicated, but fun." He says.

We stop in front of my class. I was about to walk in when he puts a hand on my shoulder.
"Wait. Here." He says, giving me a piece of paper. It had a phone number on it. I smile and type it in my phone. His pocket buzzes. He seemed surprised as he pulled out his phone.
"Thanks, and now you have mine. See you later." I say, walking in and waving back to him. He smiles before waving and dashing off.

I take my seat next to Laurence and Aphmau. I get nudged from Aphmau.
"The werewolves huh?" She says, giggling. I shrug.
"Yeah! They're really cool. They're cultures awesome as well." I smile thoughtfully. She leans closer.
"I meant Blaze. I saw you." She loudly whispers, wiggling her eyebrows. I chuckle and pull out my drawing book.
"Eh, I dunno. He's nice though." I smile distantly.

I feel someone's stare burning into the side of my head. I turn to see an upset Garroth and Laurence. I cross my arms and tilt my head.
"Yes?" I ask. They look at me blankly.
"You and the werewolves huh?" Laurence says. I shrug.
"Are you mad because I didn't sit with you?" I ask. He frowns.
"A little. But you gave him your number." He says disapprovingly. I frown.
"Sorry dad." I chuckle, scribbling in my book.
"It's not just that Y/N." I hear Garroth say. "You've been hanging out with other people." My jaw threatened to drop. Are they serious?
"Really?" I say blankly. They pause before slowly nodding. I hum a laugh before focusing entirely on my book, blocking them out. At least I don't flirt with every girl like it's a full time job...
