Chapter 16

Your POV

After we eat practically everything that sounded good on the menu, we head for the door. I couldn't help but glance over my shoulder. And sure enough, Ivy, Garroth, Laurence and Michi were behind us. I quickly look back ahead and tap Alec's shoulder.
"I'll meet you guys outside, I'm heading to the restrooms." He nods and tells the others. They nod and I head off to the girls bathroom.

Laurence's POV

"Hey Gareth? Me and Michi have to go to the restrooms, we'll see you two out the front." She grabs Michi and they both dash off towards the restrooms. We shrug and walk outside, to where the guys were. No Y/N... They greet us and we chat for a bit.

After about ten minutes, we were starting to wonder where the girls were. Y/N had gone to the restroom as well. Weird... We hear the ding of the electric door and see Y/N walk out with her hood down. She doesn't look up, she just takes her board from Romeo.
"Can one of you call Zyler please?" She asks quietly. We all exchange looks.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Romeo asks, reaching out to take off her hood. She sharply grabs his hand before it touches her hood.
"I'm fine. I-I just wanna be picked up." She says, her voice cracking gave it away. Romeo dials Zylers number while Jack reaches out and quickly takes off her hood.

We all gasp when we see her face. She had deep scratch marks on her left cheek, as well as a bloody nose. She sniffs.
"It's nothing." She says, covering her face by looking down. The guys look extremely mad, so do Garroth and I. Kyle holds her shoulders.
"Who did this to you?! I swear I'll..."
"It's fine." She says, cutting him off. Romeo was talking with Zyler I presume on the phone.
"It's not fine! Who. Did. This?!" He shouts. She shakes her head.
"Who do you think?" She says, smiling at him. We all look confused.

The sliding doors open to reveal a crying Ivy and Michi, also badly wounded.
"G-G-Gareth! She, she attacked us!" Ivy says, whimpering and clinging onto Garroth. Michi runs to me and hugs me as well.
"L-Laurence~Kun, it hurts!" She said, burrowing her face into me. I turn to Y/N to see her scuffing her sneakers on the pavement. She sighs and turns to us, almost smiling.
"I am really sorry Garroth and Laurence, sorry that your the reason for all this." She says sadly, shaking her head.

A set of headlights light us up as a giant pick up truck pulls up in front of us. Zyler runs out and hugs Y/N. He immediately glares at the girls.
"Are you okay? What happened?" He asks, softly but quickly. He lets go of her and she scuffs her shoe against the concrete.
"Nothing." She mumbles. He looks to us.
"What. Happened." We both freeze as he glares at us. His stormy grey eyes reflecting a fire.
"She attacked us! Take it away." Ivy cries. Zyler doesn't flinch.

"Y/N. Explain now." He says, completely serious. She sniffs.
"They jumped me in the restroom, then I fought back, and now this is happening." She says quietly. Ivy scoffs.
"No way that happened! You lying, ugly, man-stealing wench!" She spits. I look at Garroth, he's just as shocked. We both push them away, they look confused.
"I want the truth. What happened?" Garroth demands. Ivy stutters.
"W-What I told you is the truth!" She yells. We shake our heads.
"Your a bad liar." Zyler growls lowly. Ivy trembles.

"Wait no! It. She. I." Garroth crosses his arms.
"Consider this over Ivy." Garroth says coldly.
"As well as you Michi." I say, looking away. They both panic.
"Wait! Laurence~Kun, it was all Ivy~Chan's fault!" Michi screams. Ivy looks shocked.
"MY FAULT? You're the one who agreed!" Ivy spits back. They start to argue.
"You two want a ride?" We turn to see Y/N with her hood still covering her face. We nod.
"Yeah, thanks." We say. We all jump into the massive truck. It had eight seats, but Y/N took shotgun while Zyler drove, so Laurence and I sat in the very back with Jack, while Romeo, Kyle and the other guy sat in the middle. The radio was blasting some dubstep while we drove off, leaving the girls to argue on the concrete.

"Hey, I'm Laurence by the way." I say to the unknown guy, he turns around and shakes mine and Garroth's hand.
"I'm Garroth."
"Nice to meet ya, I'm Alec." He says. We lean back and enjoy the music, with most of us singing along.

The car stops and we pile out at and walk up to Y/N's house. Before Zyler even knocks, a frantic and sweating Nathan swings the door open.
"What happened?" He asks quickly. Zyler motions for him to move while Y/N and all of us walk in. We all fit on the L shaped long couch with Nathan standing and Y/N sitting down on the armchair. Zyler went to go get a first aid kit.

Now that the lights were on, we could clearly see the marks and dried blood. She looked at the ground, probably knowing we were all staring at her. Nathan was the most concerned it seemed, he was pacing back and forth.

Zyler comes back in with the kit and starts to clean her wounds. Definitely Michi's scratch marks... I can't believe they would do this. I'm surprised she didn't cry, it looked so painful. She stares at us.
"Sorry about, well, the loss of your guys' girlfriends." She says with a sad smile. Garroth chuckles.
"We're more worried about you then them. We should be the ones to apologize." He says, genuinely upset and worried.
"Yeah. We shouldn't have even been there." I say, running a hand through my hair. Garroth nods. She raises an eyebrow.
"Not your fault. Like you said, coincidence." She states, shrugging. She looks up.

"That's going to leave a bad bruise N/N. I'm proud though." Zyler says, almost happily.
"What for? Getting beaten up." Y/N says, chuckling.
"No. Fighting two against one. Though I don't recommend it." He says, mumbling the last part. He packs away everything. She rubs her cheek and grimaces.
"Hooray." She says sarcastically. She stands up and gets hugged by Nathan.
"You know how scared I was?! It made me think of, y'know..." he mumbles into her shoulder. She pats his head and lifts him up.
"Yeah, sorry about that baby brother. I'll tell that to them next time." She says, smiling.
"Ugh, you know I hate being called that." He says, pouting. She puts him down.
"I know baby brother."
