 Infected

Hindi ko na alam kung ano na ang nangyari sa mga dating kaibigan ni Scott doon sa factory. Iniwan namin sila roon nang umalis kami. But we untied them in case na may makapasok na zombies doon at least makapaglalaban sila.

Gabi na at nandito na kami sa Promise Land. We stop at this house na pwede naming paghingahan ngayong gabi. It's not that safe dahil sira ang mga bintana but we don't have any choice. It's dark outside. No street lights and besides it's raining heavy again.

Matapos kong malaman ang tungkol sa hindi na makontak ni Josh ang Cloak ay nag-isip ako. Hindi ako umiimik sa kanila dahil gusto kong makapag-isip. I want to decide.

I want to decide kung ipagpapatuloy ko pa ito o kung bumalik sa Cloak to check them. Why?

First, my family is the root of my strength and determination to kill Algo. First place palang sila na ang rason ko. But how can I continue with my plans if wala sila? It's fucking useless. I won't waste my time finding Algo if wala ang pamilya ko. I'd rather kill myself.

And now, I decided already. I want to go back. Wala akong pakialam kung ilang kilometro ang layo ng Promise Land sa Cloak o kung ilang araw man bago makarating doon. I don't fucking care. All I want is to see my family and make sure that they're okay. That's what I want.

Nagpunta ako sa sala kung nasaan sila pagkatapos kong magbihis. Naabutan ko silang nag-uusap doon at nagpla-plano para sa pagsugod kay Algo. They're all here.

"I can't come with you guys." I said directly as soon as I sat beside Volt.

Nahinto sila sa pag-uusap nila at tinignan ako. Nakatutok silang lahat sa'kin and so I stared back them all.

"What did you say?" Jun asked.

"I'm not coming with you. You can go but I can't."

"Why? What are you thinking lady?" nilapag ni Joshua ang hawak na baril sa sirang mesa na nasa harap namin at seryosong tumitig sa'kin.

Sandali muna akong tumahimik at pagkatapos ng ilang segundong pagkuha ko ng lakas na magsalita ay maayos ko silang hinarap. "I need to go back."

"What?!"

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"Probably not." I declined.

Muli kaming napatahimik lahat dahil sa sobrang seryoso ng pinag-uusapan namin.Harvey stood up and excuse his sit to visit the bathroom.

"I am going to look for my family. I want to know if they're fine, if they're still damn breathing." I spoke again after a whining silence.

"Cloak is too f—"

"I don't fucking care!" I hissed and cut Harry's sentence. He was surprised to hear my sudden reaction. "I don't care if it will take years before I reached Cloak Hideout. I want to see them." I said again with full determination.

"But Algo's near to us. We got the chance now."

"Killing Algo is useless if my family's gone, Volt. They're my strength and you can't blame me for that. Intindihin niyo naman ako. Joshua hindi ka ba nag-aalala sa pamilya mo?"

Hindi siya agad nakasagot sa sinabi ko. I know that among us all, he has the strongest will to kill that monster but as for me, I still want my family.
